Once you get them and run them report back to us. Many of us are still wondering how strong they are- there has been much debate going in both directions.

I ran across a problem I was going to get the KD wheel extenders (http://204.186.93.64/Summit-WideningKit.htm) until I realized that the axles probably wouldn’t reach that far.

Woo I forgot all about this thread... I got the MIP axles they seemed strong and heavy duty..... but after some crawling with rock crushers they cracked at the joint connecting to the diff. I still need to call MIP and see if they have any warenty, my LCH said they should.

ok ive ran the mip axles still do...they re the toughest ive found but ive broke more than enough of them...they wud fit the extenders...on the warranty??? be prepared to get your heart broken, but i think that is on which representive you get hold of...they will want you to mail them the broken parts...ive had them shatter right off the diff and lose what got broke..so i was out of luck with getting replacements...good luck and post back your findings...cuz ive got a couple more sets now that are broken

I can vouch for these!!! Wife just bought me a Summit for my birthday Jan. 1st and looking for some things to upgrade. I have the E-Revo Brushless edition and have broken many many stock center shafts until I switched to the Traxxas Center Shafts. They have blue boots at the ends. With The Mamba Monster pushing it, over 6 months with not one hick-up from them. Theres no way I could put more strain on them with the Summit that I have with my ERBE. Just wish they made the axles for the Summit. They would hold up a ton better than the MIP. (havn't had much luck with MIP if you know what i mean)
