i found to motors that i think are the same are they???one is a s-600r and there is a s-600
could someone please reply
ok the "r" one is a reverse rotaition motor and the other one is a normal one so the "r" spins in reverse and the normal one spins forward (has reverse too) get the normal one
Your nitro is fat...It ate my Brushless Dust!!!!
is there and difference in acceleration or speed
The one with the "R" runs backward and should not be used in our trucks. To answer you question. No there is no difference in acceleration or speed.

I don't think so.
Unless you are doing a reverse motor mod

Wow. A 22 Turn motor. Why not pick up a Reedy Radon 17T or HPI Firebolt 15T if your looking for something on the cheap. amainhobbies has a bunch of motors.

what is better the firebolt, reedy radon, or the s-600Originally Posted by StreetShaker
The S600 is a solid runner that will last a while but it is not rebuildable and is a very high turn so its not super fast. BUT... you can gear it up just a bit because of its high turns to get back some of the speed. It will run just a little bit slower than the titan when its geared correctly, but it will last a long time.
The firebolt isnt a motor I have any experience with, however, I have seen them and they look smaller, more like a 540 size motor. I would think at 15 turns you need to gear it extremely low to keep it cool and without any experience in a slash, id be worried about durability.
The Reedy motor will be fast, its a 540 motor so your XL5 can run it. But as a 540 size motor it would need to be geared at least 15/86 to stay cool and being that its rebuildable it will require maintenance. Of the 3, it will likely cost the most and be the fastest.
It depends on what you want to do really. If your looking for similar performance to your titan with a low price tag and good lifespan, get the Electrifly S600... you can get them from tower for $16. If you want big speeds and dont mind the price and maintenance, get the Reedy...
The Reedy only has replaceable brushes. Otherwise its not 100% rebuild-able. But its cheap and they can be had cheaper from ebay. Just remember to pick up a couple pinions. like 14t, 15t, 16t.
