Has anyone broken one? If so, under what circumstances? On every Gorillamaxx thread someone says they are concerned about durability, but I haven't seen any longer term reviews. The open design would be perfect for my Sand/Basher Slash.
No joke. It is supper sandy around here and the Slash tries to bring half of my bash spot home everytime.
i don't know about the durability, but i was looking into buying one, but the price discouraged me from getting it, esp since of the lack of reviews and a lower price. So instead, i'm getting a stock chassis and a PL chassis saver.
i love mine so far. i have one of each, CF and aluminum. the kit is pretty awesome. comes with all new bolts and nylon nuts. the rear of the chassis goes under the rear tower completely and is held in 4 spots. ive had the CF chassis for a while now but the aluminum only out for a few bashing sessions. no problems yet. and even though it is not a true LCG chassis, it does lower the electronics.

Thanks for the post Radiojh. I'm definitely liking the way these look. What kind of batteries have you run in them and how well have they fit?
ill answer part of that for him...
he runs em on 3s (in his sig.... :P)

yep, my 3's fit great. even my blue 2s fits ok. it has the wires on the side, just kick it to the side a little and strap her in.
another added note: CF is 3oz lighter than stock and the aluminum is .5 lighter
the carbon fiber one looks really cool!
