    lipo experience

so yesterday i just recieved my first lipo ever a ******* 2s 3000mah lipo yesterday and all i can is this thing is awesome i am very close to the same speed with my seven cell and has about 1600 mah less than the seven cell. but i have a few questions about what does the 40-50c mean, does it have anything to do with when your charging it? thanks i am planning on ordering a 3s soon to get even more speed

40-50C means it's able to output 40x the capacity (40x3000 mA) continuously, and 50x the capacity for bursts of up to 10 seconds.

If you plan to use 3S, note that you will have to get a new motor and ESC.

The stock motor and ESC can't handle more than 9.6V (the motor usually fries quickly even with that), and 3S is 11.1V.
Your best bet for more speed (even with 2S) is going brushless.

40-50C means how much current you battery is able to supply. So a 3000mah with 40C is able to supply 40x3000mah, or 120.000mah/ 120A of juice. For charging you must consult the Lipo's charging instruction, usually written on the back. Example, a charging capability of 2C means the Lipo can be charged at 2 x 3000 mah, or 6A.

Edit: sorry, ignore my post. It had been aswered already
Myth busted: Blitz is not faster on the track.
