did some work to my summit and didn't have any locktite to put on the pin the holds the half axle to the diff. After running the truck a few times I was checking it over and noticed they worked they're way almost out, grinding the bulkhead away above it on bot sides... I've still been running them just no water runs you think dirt will get in there?
P.S. Always use locktite, lol
In a pinch, you can use nail polish in place of loctite.
that's good adviseOriginally Posted by BAC5.2
Because I would be more likely to have nail polish nearby than loctite ?!?!?!Originally Posted by BAC5.2

Hey sweetie, pm me ok... Holy Rocky Horror! (useful tidbit though, thx)Originally Posted by BAC5.2
Anyways... water can't get into your diff because of a seal and water will get into the axle u-joint anyways so no real harm done.
When you use the loctite make sure all grease and junk is gone or it will not set. Oh yeah, use blue not red, but you prob already know that. Loctite makes a 'UHU' glue type stick that is great, mess free.
I use the green personally as I can install everything and put a dab on afterwards. (it is penetrating type)
