OK want to upgrade my servo
the stock servo horn is offset a little to keep itcloser to the chassis
where can you get something like this for KO or Hitec servo
No reason to upgrade your servo, tra2075 is plenty strong and water proof.
You're not too old if you're still having fun!
Plenty of reasons to upgrade the servo.
-Metal gear servos are stronger than the stock plastic
-Servos that are faster and/or have more torque will have better response.
-The stock servo is known to develop shorts (at least in my expirience)
-Most any servo can be waterproofed fairly easily.
I'm sure there's more, but that's what I can think of off the top of my head.
Been there, broken that.
This past weekend, I installed a KO Propo 2368 high torque servo in my PE and what a huge improvement: A little more precise, much smoother and better "hold" in the corners.Originally Posted by h82b2nd
As far as the servo horn, I used a composite one from my XRAY buggy. I had to drill a new hole and trim the excess, but it worked perfectly...even without the offset.
Hope that helps.
LOL wut? Its slow, its got plastic gears, MOST servos are somewhat waterproofOriginally Posted by Maxson11

well I put the KO in with a standard horn - on groomed surface it will probably be ok - just dont like to see the oppportunity for the horn to take a direct mpact
will give it a try at racing Wednesday
