    Looks good so far.

    Tires reversed for more traction?
What drive shaft are you going to use in the rear?

Please keep us posted on your progress.

    Front suspension looks rather stiff.
All the articulation is coming from the rear...

I build it to be a Rock racer so it still can handle rough terrain but it's not all over the place when I run it full speed.. I hope.

I was a bit disappointed by the amount of travel the front of a Slash 4x4 has, I will try to gain a little bij "adjusting" some parts. Also, the rear was up kinda high so I adjusted the front.. Wrong.

I am going to make my shafts with parts of the Funny Car diff and some shafts from Tamiya (Hornet, Pajero, Lunchbox, Grasshopper.) Got 2 10mm shafts wich I am going to use to connect them. I will post some pictures ones I get that done.. Still waiting for the Funny Car gears and hope they fit because nobody, not even Traxxas Support, know if they fit. P

I'm suspecting a lot of torque twist with no sway bar out back. Looks more like a yeti , is it nose heavy ?

I might have to put in a sway bar.. Maybe the weight of the axle and it being wide is enough.. We will see. It is not nose have but I will put the Lipo in the back to have more weight holding the back down, I also mount a spare wich means more weight.

E-Revo/Funny car hybrid diff. Nobody could, or wanted to tell if it was going to work so I just went for it. Almost ready to finish the rear axle.

An Alu diff with tube welded on and some Tamiya Lunchbox axle glued in there.

You can actually get a lot of travel out of a Slash with the right parts, and a slight mod to the front carriers.

What did you do.? I think you have to take some material out where the A-arm hits the carrier.?

Exactly. It doesn't take much. I drew a template of where it sits now, and kept checking my travel gains. When I was happy, I made another so I could get the exact results for the other side. Very pleased with the results.

I removed A-Arm and Cblock from the truck. Drew lines at angle or arm, and angle of c Block and max travel. Removed c block from the arm and started removing material where the c block contacted the arm. Reinstalled and removed several times until I achieved desired results. It's not a stress point in that location so the structural integrity is not an issue.

Did the front Dremel thing., gained some front suspension travel. Put in the electronics.

Built the rear axle, wich is gonna be replaced a.s.a.p because the aluminium diff housing is crap. Bearings did not fit and the whole thing is so hard I could not grind or drill it to make it fit. It works for now but I will make a new axle housing with a stock E-Maxx housing and added 3D printed parts. The gears and shaft worked like I hoped they would so I will have a working axle eventually. I will run this one till it breaks..

I haven't had much time for the forums lately as other things in life have temporarily takin a front set to my hobby but you have a very nice build there. It's always nice to see someone doing some real modifications rather then just bolt on upgrades.
Hats off to you Good sir.
