    How to make Revo wheelie?

Anyone can help me,my Revo 3.3(5308),after break-in engine, everything is good. But each time I want to step/climb up to pedestrian ,only the front wheel can, then the engine shut off!
I think my needle setting may not correct?
Anyway,I want to wheelies, but it cannot to do!
The high speed needle may be need to lean more ? Make the engine more power ? The rear supsension seems to be too soft ,need to harden ?
Any setting need to change? I only use the stock setting!

Your tune is off, most likely the low speed needle or idle. Follow the tuning tips... get a temp gun too, that helps out a lot when tuning.

Revo might not wheelie so much because of the suspension setup. Stiffer springs will help. I personally don't like wheelies but my Revo 3.3 will if I gun it from a stop.

My 5309 wheelies on demand right after break-in, your tune must be off.
Thats a bumper? I thought it was a wheelie bar!

You can always put in thicker shock oil and stiffer springs in the rear, that would help. But a good tune is essential.
What are these "brakes" you speak of?

You need to Tune the engine before you worry about wheelies...
    No slipper/tall gearing/power = broken parts.

and BTW the revo is a RACEING truck, it is made to have all 4 wheels on the ground, so doing wheelies will be harder. i like my 4 wheels planted on the ground.

Question is how not to wheelie.....

OS18TM, original 2.5 Revo, lightened = wheelies on demand, sometimes when it changes to 2nd as well.

    why I want to wheelie?
Because I find if my needle setting is right, the truck sould be powerful to be wheelie,I only want to prove the engine is in right tuning,
In website I have seen Rev can wheelie,so I want to do so!

get close ratio internal gearing with 14/40 clutch spur combo and tighten the slipper clutch until it wheelies... 14/40 is the most punch you can get with the Revo...

You have a great point. A wheelie is a great indicator that you are getting your tune in the ballpark.

You are right about the 14/40, but you don't necessarily need the close ratio gear set, as all of the 1st gears are the same ratio. The close ratio gear set might make the wheels pop off the ground when it shifts into second if you have a perfect tune, and your shift point set a little later.

As soon as we get better weather here in the UK I will take some vid of my Revo pointing skywards. If you are not a racer it is cool to set of and give it some wheelies. After all it about having fun with your truck - I love it and that is why I have the wing and wheelie bar.

get the rig moving oh 4-5 mph then let out of the gas but don't brake. let the engine unspool then floor it. works every time. its easier to get moving if its already moving

properly tuned it should wheely all day long. go back to factory settings and then retune, tighten slipper if thats loose it will not wheely. my stock 3.3 will wheely nicely, and my full modded 3.3 wheelys like crazy. had to put center dif in to keep front down. anyway retune and check slipper then shocks etc.
    its only money

The first vid is of my 3.3 and the other one is after the bb conversion. Even with 3.3, when properly tuned will wheelie all day long. Now with the .28 it's a different story. Thinking about tying a brick to the front bumper to keep it down lol.
