nice vid cirkus!! looks nice! funny when the slash tripped over the mini. lol
We added a bit to the track. Yesterday we built this little double. The stock Slashes roll it as two singles, but the brushless Slash and the mini Revo take it as a double.
This one used to be a big jump with no landing, so I fixed that today. Stock Slashes also take this one as a single. Its a commitment jump for the mini Revo but if you make it you leave everyone behind taking it as two singles. I still have finishing work to do on the landing.
We are going to work on the borders and piping hopefully this weekend...

Lookin good there Cirkus.
Looks very nice, like the solar lights!
Yeah, those I think are going to work out well. I have 4 bright flood lights on the patio cover but the very right side of the track is a bit dim. I like solar because its free light. We are just experimenting with placement and how many we will need.Originally Posted by Carbonrevo33
We have plans for some awesome plywood walls all the way around the track with a black and white checkerboard pattern painted on them...
is swear those lights are going to get nailed by a car, so i suggest something else than having them on the track, ut isnstead like up on the fence and patio.
i am the most modest man, thats why im better
sounds cool man. good reason for that kind of light, but Big-Bus has a point.Originally Posted by Cirkus
Yeah, I agree. They aren't there to race. I had them out last night just checking light output and flood pattern. I just left them there today to charge. Trust me, with some of the guys I have over, the top of the fence or the patio cover might not be a safe place either!
Hey now wait just a minute! I have never been over there to race and I swear that guy in the MRAP turret pulled out in front of me after I commited to the ju...Oh wait you wern't talking about me...nevermind!
Great track Cirkus, this track has come a long way quickly!

That is AWESOME!!! WOOT!!!

cool lets see some more pics and vids!!!
Race-bred SSC 4x4
I'm getting my mini Revo Thursday and my friend has his so we'll get some video of us racing
I'm also going to look for some corrugated hose for the borders this weekend.
if you do end up putting plywood walls around the whole thing, depending on your angle with the sun in that corner you could simply mount the lights on the plywood wall than.
looking great tho!! can't wait for another vid!!
My thoughts exactly...Originally Posted by Tiernan85

Sorry I'll be out of town for the holiday.
how's the job market in Yuma? i think i may have to move there
and become ur new best friend. =P
you mentioned that it gets volcano hot.
just how hot does it get in the summer there?
i would luv to live there b'cuz AZ seems to have the perfect
natural terrain for off-road rc.
i think my babies would luv it there...
these are my babies, they grow up sooo qwik!
My Roller will never be complete.
I've seen temps above 120 last summer. I wouldn't live here if it wasn't for my job being here because of the military bases here.
Nice trucks and that's some serious heat!
That track is unreal. Nice work. I do not have any "local" tracks and could only imagine how awesome it would be have one the back yard. Can't wait to see what you do next.

Arizona is not that fun during the middle of summer at all triple digit degree most of the time.Only could run my truck at night or early mornings. Btw nice track you got there.Originally Posted by Cirkus

<--- Wants your track!
great track. stay single i had a backyard track before i got married now she says i cant touch the **** yard. So good thing i have my local track like 5 min away.
8ight t e
Being married does ruin the backyard track BUT if you get her a RC car then she can use itOriginally Posted by boostedg60rado
you should pst your track on the web as open or bsiness every sat and sun and charge 2 bucks a driver... then install a sprinkler system to keep the track watered (for the neighbor with the pool) and the lights...etc with the entrance fees. i dont think anyone would have a problem paying 2 bucks to race on that thing all day! awesome
EDIT: and if you are making a couple bucks, the backyard track will go over better with future girlfriend/wife...
is there an 'AA' for RC addicts?
These pics look fairly familier... =)
