Well I hope this works,I have lost about a dozen clips in just a few runs.
Dose it stay on ? It looks like a great idea
I havent run it yet,but will report back.
That's an interesting idea.
I just put these on a few days ago... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFPV9 4 battery backs and several rolls later...all body clips accounted for!
I've burn through at least one with every battery, but haven't ever lost one with my Slash.
i went through a couple but i didnt lose them they got bent and i just put fuel tubing on the clip so if it falls of i can find it easier
I did the same thing with the velcro, works great!
I borderline swear by those on my larger scale stuff. that would be my first ideaOriginally Posted by speedfreakgc
GOT MY SLASH AND BEATING THE LIVING POO OUT OF IT!
If its really good quality velcro, it will work for a time. The 1/10'th slash had that, along with body clips, but after taking off the body a couple times, the velcro was shot, or just peeled off.
yea, looks like a nice mod man. I did that to one of my 1/36 scales. Helps alot and makes room for other things. Nice job man.
I also always lost the front ones but not no more A Simple fix i found is push the body clips on past where they supposed to clip on so the body post actually goes in the big open round handle on the clips and you wont lose any clips anymore!
i did the same thing to my revo. velcro ftw.

yes, those are amazing, i have them on all 3 of my revo 3.3 bodies, but i think these may be to big on the mini, do they fit well?Originally Posted by speedfreakgc
Looking REAL good, good idea m8. We always use this on the 1/10 el 4wd/2wd cars..it seems that it can be done here..im gonna try it

I thought about getting the retainers, but that wont keep the clips in place, just prevents lose.
The velcro that I got is pretty strong,w/ really good glue on the back.
Its holding great so far, longevity is the key I guess,so we will see.

E-Maxx Wicked Fun
Mini E-Revo Freaking AWESOME!
I think the included clips are a bit too big. I ordered some black body clips as well. Had to slightly drill out the body post holes for them to fit easily. You could use the stock clips (if you haven't lost them yet) and just use the black rubber piece to hold them.Originally Posted by zmcracing46
These are too long and would just drag if you flip it on it's lid. I had to tuck all the excess under the body. I had them for a while, however the front only lasted me a week from all the lid slides.Originally Posted by zmcracing46
