I gently hit a curb. Any of the other cars in the pics would've survived the same impact and have survived much worse. I was very surprised when it broke. It was either brittle plastic or the planets aligned for just the right angle. :-) I never would've hit the curb if the brakes were better, or if I weren't anywhere near the curb to begin with. lol

New A-arms are on the way. Now I know to be more careful with this one than the others.

I called Traxxas, and they're sending the replacement for free.

I also bought a set off eBay to have in my box for future needs.

Ditto on the pics. i am really liking the size of my revo vxl. It jumps like a mad man and takes a beating. I held my breath when I sent it into a cartwheel blazin' down the sidewalk. Flipped it back on its rubber and kept on going. I still can't get over how sweet this truck is.

Mine crashed into a flower pot at 14 mph, flipped and nothing broke.

I'm actually glad to hear that most people aren't breaking. It makes me think my two breaks were flukes and shouldn't happen again.

It's funny because I'm usually the guy who doesn't break. People complain about driveshafts and diffs on the big E-Revo, but I never really have any problems with mine. Who knows, right?

I broke a front a arm and half shaft running into a well placed mail box at about 35-40 mph. Waiting on parts from ebay, since no one else seems to stock them.

I was able to fix my A-arm using a paper towel and CA-glue. It's holding up pretty well actually.

    -glue the break
-wrap the break with a single layer of paper towel
    -glue the paper towel
    -repeat a couple of times

The paper towel hardens into a cast that supports the break. It'll get you up and going until new parts arrive.
