Passed by the track today with my new setup (one hole in pistons closed) a lot better, but still springy, cuz the shortened of the pushrod, it change the geometry of the suspension. i will use limiters insted, before i adjusted the pushrods for lower ridhight it was PERFECT... BUT the car was dialed, a lot better then the last movie...im running 2wd fronts on my car, the track have tons of grip so this is the combo to run here

I have a really random question:
What is that Stop N Go corner on your AstroTurf track about? I am talking about that tight right hand corner a couple corners before the long straightaway.
I am not a big racer so I am very confused.

    Thanks a bunch

To Precision man: when you have sone something that aint allowed on race, like hiting a another racer with "meaing" or put him off the track, thasts the place you have to stop until the referee tells you to go

To Trial: Link to Wheels they are white here, not sure if Amain have them in stock http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-56mm-ZX5-SP-2

NOTE: the othe one Amain have in stock aint the same, they are the old ones and dont hold up as the newer ones..

Prolines 4wd front are the ones i have, they are not listed on Amain, but http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Buggy-Tires-2 sholud work

Thanks for the explanation Thomas. So it is kind of like a timeout box, or a drive through pit lane in NASCAR.

Here is a link to the revo 2.5 and 3.3 setup sheets. Same thing as above, just a different name (i see you copied e-revo vxl over the revo 2.5/3.3. lol, good cover-up).
    http://www.traxxas.com/support/kb_se...0setup%20sheet

By the way, Thomas P, you have one nice looking revo. I've been keeping tabs on it. I like your swaybar setup and i'm thinking on how to put one in the rear. I've got a few ideas floating around in my head.

    Good luck with everything!

Yepp my MM was toasted on my holiday...after some speedruns from my son, it started to wobbling out near the sea..and later it was a fact..big pile of smoke... I have mounted the stocker ESC and ordred a new MM combo

So you have the rear(wider) wheels at all fours but use the 4wd front hole shots? Is that to stretch them for less sidewall, or was that a typo? Just wondering, because I'm starting to look for things to get mine dialed in for racing, we have an indoor blue groove hard packed dirt surface and hole shots are a must. I'll test out your idea for shocks(oil+springs), I'm still not sure where the sway bar is and what it's doing though. And with your turnbuckles in place of the pushrods, how low are you having it sit?

Yep in contact with some water...

-Yes i use rear rims on all corners, on them i have Proline holeshot 4wd front for less side flex (good on highgrip surface)

I will change my adjustble pushrods (since im using stock length on them) to alu traxxas pushrod, the geometry will be diff when they are shorter and it will change the progressivity, so i use limiters insted in my shocks and it is a lot better, app 4mm thick plastic washers in dampers. im using it for a little less steering , i mean the front sway, when i running on tracks i are around level on arms

Are you running any toe out in the front like on 4wd buggies? And you still have the Kyosho Lazer rear wheels on all fours with Proline 4wd fronts? Have you tried the center diff yet? I plan to get tires/wheels by Friday and hopefully get to the track to get some pratice time and see how it feels. All I know is that it was a joke with stock tires on the track. I'll hopefully get a vid or two of how she goes.

Just picked these tires/wheels up tonight, work GREAT on blue groove at the track. They're JConcepts Goosebumps buggy rears stretched onto Traxxas white dish truck wheels. The wheels fit perfectly and have a big offset that makes it have a wider/more stable stance.

Thomas, do these remove the slop that the stock setup has? Mine is so bad now and I don't want to buy new stock "Clips" if this solves the problem.

I have not run the car yet, but i have ZERO slop now, maybe a 1000 of a mm or a 100...im just up to mount the last one, and letting the locktite burn..then tomorrow il be testing it hard. Hmm, billysnarf (i think thats hes name here) hev thoose with great result... i wouldnt buy new plastic, get those, little costy but i "think" they are the soloution for our problems...

Yes they do reduce the slop.. The trick is getting the grubs to stay in... mine so far have stayed in with loc-tite and CA glue.. 1 hour at the track yesterday was successful.

I see no need to remove the grubs after installation.. i may just redo them with RED locktite instead.. just to make sure..
