    proline sand paws

I just got my baja bug body and sand paws, the sand paws did not have foam inserts, is that on purpose or did I get screwed? if on purpose, why? I live 20 minutes from GLAMIS so I can't wait to put them on and throw some sand.

Yeh they dont come with the inserts, Buy some firm foam inserts and you will not have the balooning issues, this is what I did and it works great for me.

they come with out foams because when sand get in the tire it will disintegrate the foams to powder

    In progress

But here it is. I am still working in the graphics which I do myself - www.itsalldesign.com - printed on waterproof vinyl and topped with a UV laminate. I still have a lot engine detailing to do and maybe the new waterproof BL before heading to the beach in a couple of weeks...

I'm looking at getting a baja bug going. Couple of questions, I realize the posts need to be changed, what did you do and with what. The rear bumper goes and gets replaced with the RPM engine guard right? Any other mods that need done to accomodate the baja body? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you need to elevate the rear posts to mount it.

Want to do a 500 number for more scale, but my racing number in general is 226 so I said f it and went with 226. its a small number on the hood anyways.

no you dont, you just have to take off the nerf bars in order to make it fit.

There are two baja bodies proline makes, one fits the slash with no mods neccessary exept removing the nerf bars and the other fits the t-maxx,revo and e-revo thats the one where you must raise the rear posts to fit the slash chassis. there are alot of pictures of both on this thread. also the slash body comes with the rear wing and the t-maxx/revo body does not. here are two pictures of them side by side, the one with the wing molded in the front of the body is for the slash.

    My heavily modified slash:

Baja body (I liked the body for monster trucks more than the one made for the Slash)
    selfmade front + rear sway-bars
    sealed diff mod with x-rings
    Traxxas big bores
STRC caster blocks + steering knuckles + rear hub carriers + bellcranks + suspension pins
    RPM A-arms + skid plates
    Traxxas VXL
    selfmade light kit
a replacement for the removed stock rear bumper is under construction...
    etc...

    enjoy!

I dont know for sure where that spot is but I have a guess of it being some where in Irvine kinda of by the 241 or near Santiago Canyon. Just a guess and my own experiences looking for places to play with my prerunner.
    Government can't fix the problem.

The red Trophy Truck body is mine also, I just decided to do a black Baja Bug body for fun since all my friends are running them.
