    Series / Parallel

I've read all about the series / parallel thing, but there's something I'm still confused about.

I've ordered a MaxAmps Lipo 8000HV 7.4V E-Revo Pair. I know that they have to be run in Series to double the voltage, but....

... how? I don't have my E-Revo yet, but when I'll get it, do I just have to plug the batteries in and the ESC knows automatically if I want to run in series or parallel? (I doubt so).

I guess this is a pretty noob question, but could somebody explain me what I'll have to do that my maxamps are running in series?
(I know about the LVC requirement, I've ordered a Novak SmartStop 2s and will build a Kraeger harness).

the positive from one battery goes into the negative of the other battery you are left with two leads one positive one negative giving you 14.8v that plugs into esc

The EREVO is pre wired for series. Just plug the batteries in and go.

make sure you use a lipo cutoff if using the EVX2 as it does not have one built in like the MMM
If it didn't break you can do it again.

If only Zippies were made in the States and had the MaxAmps people behind them (niceness [is that even a word?] and customer service).

I wouldn't say zippies perfrom way better. I've got both and performance in my eyes anyway is virtually the same. That said, the zippies are 1/3 the price or even less, so ***** > MA
