    Summit Hop-Ups

There has to be some folks out there that have hopped up their Summit's. Things like brushless setups, motor setups, Aluminum parts, new bodies, new rims, different shock setups. Whatever it is, I want a thread of pics and posts with stuff you guy's have come up with. Scale stuff welcome as well. I've seen quite a bit and done quite a bit myself and would like to see new and old ideas. Post em here fellas.

If you haven't seen some of the things done so far, you might like these links.

Streetsports. Thanks for the addition. Truck looks really cool blacked out. Are the RPM arms any shorter?

no there the same length...front skid took a bash into a concrete walkway at 40 flexing it back smashing into the aluminum plate, into the front bulk breaking one of the halves, into the skid that covers the steering assembly breaking it, then into the long cover over the trani breaking it and finally the shock ended in my rear bulk also breaking one of the halves ....so i shoved a peice of high density foam behind the front skid...ive since smashed it the same way but the shock only broke that peice off of the front skid...so i guess the foam kinda did its job

Wow, I think the Insurance Company would have dubbed that a total! lol Never would have guessed it from the cracked bumper left to remind you.

Why can't you crawl anymore? Is it because of your Brushless system you have?

its a mix of tat a broken receiver and the lack of cash for a nice 4ppk...so i had to send the trx away to be fixxed then sent back...who knows how long that could take

No worries Streetsports!! it's all good. We're folks!! I posted your link in my thread so i expected the back and forth idea sharing. That's what it's all about for me. The thing that sucks is that these posts are like part 5678, short shelf life and then it's time for a new one. Doubt people will continue to post hop -ups here. They'll be too excited and want to post their own threads. Just trying to make a thread that people can go to with ideas and creativity on anything SUMMIT?

I guess we'll leave it to the posters to make that happen or not.

Thank you, I was inspired mainly by LongBill76's build and from talking with all the guys that are normally in the e-revo brushless forum.

I just try to keep it simple and clean

This e-revo Build has to be the sickest and well documented build i've seen on the traxxas forum. I find it my duty to bring it to the summit owners attention of what can be done. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

    http://monster.traxxas.com/showthread.php?t=434613

Thanks Kscherer3153 for bringing it to my attention!! And thank the RevoGod (LongBill76) for his work!!!
