I am using a hitec 645 and I keep on stripping the stock steering servo adaptors.
1. is it the #3 adaptor that goes on the servo saver?
2. Do I really need a servo saver?
absolutely, i ran indoor tracks without one for a while until one bad crash into the wall stripping all the gears. splurge on the saver and not a new servoOriginally Posted by bolibruch1
Make sure your EPA's are setup correctly as well. Servo saver is a must. Also look for a aluminum servo horn.
Do you NEED a servo saver, technically no, you don't NEED it but running without one is a very bad idea. Replacing a servo saver is easier than replacing a servo.
Traxxas TRA5345X Servo Horn Set for non-Traxxas servos. This kit provides throttle and steering servo horns to fit Hitec, JR, KO, and Airtronics Servos.
You're gonna need a bigger boat...
haha, nice sig mann!!! I have to much, never strip them.... and my slipper clutch is all the way down....
if you want me to i can break your truck for free!
I like the Racer's Edge servo savers. They are available for most spline patterns, and they don't strip out easily.
