    Little update.
To much snow here so I did some work on the truck.

I made the input shaft mod on the first gear.

Next, install the Ultramaxxed gear set!!!

And a Strobe slipper and sprong

instead of using ultramaxed gears, curious that you didnt just do 3905 trans. i eventually did that with my 3906 flm chassis, using their adapter its a great trans.althogh would like to put my 3906 trans back in if i could find steel 2nd. gear to put in.just keep blowing that using mmm/5s. anyway been following your build fromk the start and dig it.

How to get a brand new Neu cheap!!!

I was able to find a toast Neu 1515 for $50 buck.
After calling Neu to know the repair cost, they tell me that I could have a brand mew one for half the price.
I only need to make a flat spot on the shaft

My Medusa still run perfectly but now I have a good spare motor.

Sweet motor What about a RCM CD mount ? You prefer keeping the 2-speed tranny ?

Sweet thank you very much. I hope these will hold up to my mmm. I would really like to get it set up with much harder acceleration. It'll be really nice not having to spend $300 to do the FLM hybrid setup.

    Absolutly perfect until now.
I run them hard with my Medusa.
They worth the work, I primise.

But I forgot to put silicone oil in them before installing them so if you want them to have a limited slip, don't forget it.
I don't have the courage to dismentle the entire truck to have them in my hand.

    Install it and forget it!!!!!!!!!!

But I t was thinking that 1 of toe in was anough and almost unvisible .
With true track it seem to have 10 of rear toe in ( I know it's not that)but it seem OK.

    Nice bashing session today.

It's cool to get to the point when our rig is VERY reliable and sessionj after session, NO BREAKAGE!!!!!!!

    OK let say:
I don't jump higher than my height ( No 20 feet jump)
And I use this config in 4s.

So maybe if I jump 25 feet hight with the 6s speed then I'll break something sooner than later.

A cops radar gun catch my maxx at 50 Km/h with my 4s full.
Plenty os speed for bashing FOR ME!!!

i was wondering if you could use the stub axle mod you did so you could run stock diff to wheel drive shafts work for you center drive shafts
    thanks

    Scotthw
NO, the diff input shaft ( pinion that mehs with the ring gear) is 8mm, a lot bogger than the 6mm output shaft, and it' a pinion and not just a shaft so No I don't think you can.

    You'll need a 8mm drive cup and dogbone ( lenght = ?).
What is your ACTUAL setup as for the lenght of your maxx. ( Stock, Monoed, Flmed, customed?) all of those will affect the lenght of your rear center driveshaft
BUT I hear that some will drill to 8mm 1 side of the rear center traxxas CVD.
I'm not sure that option will hold our brushless system

I love your maxx Custom and well proportioned ! But the vids are too rare in this thread !

Are 4 shocks enough to support the weight ?
Are you going to find a better way to secure the packs ?

    Looking good Fred

I use two Hyper 7 front shocks in the back and I think it's enough and they are longer than the Maxx shocks
I'll do the 2 shock switch in the front as soon as I get another set of front shocks

Are you in competition with Yellowmann on "who will cause the biggest heart attack ?" : http://monster.traxxas.com/showpost....2&postcount=32

Nice deal obviously, but I don't really understand this motormania, are these motors more effective than the "standard" 2200kV ones ?

Tired to wait inside so I bought the revo full cover and try it with my maxx!!
So it fit my FLM + Mono chassi.

But the MMM termaled after 15 min But the fan is dead since a year. Maybe I need to replace it but come on, we are in the WINTER here in Quebec. around -20c
I don't know if it's because the tire spin too freely ( motor not stress anoff (Undergear)) or
Badland are not the best in the snow.
After few min it was back to life. oufff!!

So exept the heat issue that I'll work on, not a drop of water make they way inside.

Hm, calculator says that should be geared for ~53mph, probably was just the lack of traction letting the motor rev freely without much load that made it heat up by the end of the run. Need to get some old emaxx tires and drive some screws from them to made spiked tires- that'll get you some traction...

No more drifting like crazy .
Now I thing it will hook to the ice or pack snow!!
Those are ice stud left from my Quad ice racing tire.

I predrill hole in the tirebefore screwing the stud.
    25 studs front
    36 studs rear

I hope the crap 14mm hex will hold up!

I'll let you know how it work.
