    whats the best cleaner for my motor

    any electric motor cleaner should work they all do the same thing
    make sure to oil your bushings after cleaning the motor

    I use Dynamite. 13 ounce can is 5 bucks.

    Yep, QD (quick dry) Electronic Spray cleaner found at Wal Mart, Napa, Auto Zone, etc. $4 per can. Red can.

    Electronic Spray cleaner found at Wal Mart what department do I find this at?
    I was at WalMart and couldnt find it, what brand is it?
    Also I though I read that you also can use break cleaner for electric motors is this right?

    The electronic cleaner is in the Auto section. Brake cleaner might work, but will weaken any plastic it contacts.

    Brake cleaner is pretty nasty and harsh stuff- it makes me want to yack when I have to use it. I wouldn't use it anywhere near and RC car.

    I use Electra Motive (made by CRC). It's even non-flammable...

    some of electric motor cleaner are not plastic safe...be careful
