Stock ? Nearly You'll see !
Concerning the options, I'm going to receive some stock parts for my RPM axle carriers (pivot balls, caps, dust boots...). And in March I will receive all the options I need to build the roller !!
Go with the MMMcombo. I use to run the novak no complains. But the MMM is just as smooth but defiantly more torque. Plus then you have the option to show off with 6s or run 5s. Not to mention its not much that more $$ then the novak.
looks like this is going to be a nice build you inspired me to do a scratch build i might start one when i get some money lol
Nice new build Popoxx, just love to see it come together as one part + video
Have you decided which brushless system to choose for your E-revo yet?
Have you read this thread? it's going to be soooo cooool:
Thanks E-maxx Sweden
I will use the Novak HV Pro 6.5 system I won't join the flock of the addicts of high speed
I think the slipperential is above all for racers. I need to do wheelies, I'm a basher and express rock-crawler, I think you know that
The last parts for my roller are on the way ! New pics and start of the build very soon
you should do a summit build
I said express
No need of the T-Lock remote locking diffs, two speed ratios, big tires, realistic body, crawling motor, etc.
I... I just don't understand.I will use the Novak HV Pro 6.5 system
But I quess I don't have to... lol

Holy Cow! thats alot of parts lol, can't wait to see the final product.
Slash 4X4 PE:MM/Medusa 3300KV
Sweet! Thats a ton of parts.
It was a pleasure to build this beautiful MT !
I hope I didn't make mistakes
Some pics of the monster :
I'm going to receive the Lunsford Racing rocker pivot posts so I will post pics of the finished roller soon !! And you'll also discover the look of my E-Revo with its tires/wheels and body
Step by step...
Just one thing I would do/have done, dye the chassis black.
4wd Sportmaxx 3.3
E-Revo - Mamba Monster - Neu 4s
So sweet Popoxx, just keep it coming will you.
That's looking sweet! That big old parcel looks like it came from the USA! That looks like a customs sticker to me!! I get far to many of them (import tax).
I'll be watching for when those shoes and shell arrive
carraig042 : this is weird because I hated the grey color of the parts of my E-Maxx so I dyed them in black, but for the E-Revo it's different, I don't know why. I keep it grey for the moment
I rarely see you on the forum eemmaaxxxx, welcome back Yes I buy all the RC parts on Tower Hobbies or ebay. Here in France the prices are crazy
I can't wait to see new pics in your build thread E-maxx Sweden
sweeeeeeeet!!!!! i have been waiting for you to countinue on your buildi might do a build next winter!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Popoxx. I've had about a four month break. I've had a go with a crawler which is waiting for parts, so I'm back to working on the Maxx's. Good to see your still building! Good luck.
I apologize if this was already asked but I didn't have to read through all the posts, but how much did building it from scratch like that cost? I've been wanting to do that for a long time but thought that building one would be more expensive than buying one RTR.
"As you think, so shall you become." -Bruce Lee
Nice build. I'm beginning to do the same with another Revo 3.3. I have many, many stock parts left over from my current 3.3. Using Ebay, I have it firgured I will have another Revo running for under $150 (not too bad). Hopefully I can maybe convince my wife to run it.
Again, thanks all for your comments !
OM514 : the total cost depends on what you want to do I bought all the stock parts on ebay (~$180 w/o shipping charges) and all the options on Tower Hobbies (~$1000 all included - BL system, radio, tires/wheels, servos, etc. w/o shipping charges). If you want to build a stock E-Revo, buy the RTR kit directly. In fact, buy the RTR kit except if you want to upgrade it directly, like me
ajb1205 : yes ebay is a great place to buy cheap stock parts Start your build thread and post a vid of your wife driving your MT, it could be funny
My roller is ready !!!
(60wt shock oil, blue springs rear, silver springs front, Bad Horsies shock covers)
Tip to mount the shock covers :
(thanks to Integy )
(Lunsford Racing rocker pivot posts with Traxxas blue nuts)
AND NOW...... the MONSTER !!!!!!!!!!
Proline Masher tires, Maximizer beadlocks and Revo 3.3 body... with E-Revo stickers
I hope you like it !
To install this body you need to dremel the rear body posts, to use a front bumper mount, and to use front body posts.
Some pics of the tires/wheels setup :
Next step in May
E-Revo MMM 2200 "The Missile"
VXL FLM Rustler
Fantastic!! It looks like a proper monster! You know how much I like Mashers, they are awesome tyres.
Just one thing........ You said next step in May!!! You've missed out April!! Please don't tell me I've got to wait until May for an update
OK for April
you must love rc, you might not want to say but how did you get all that money

Thanks all !! (yes I know this is the third times I say that in this page )
Where I find the money ? I have a secret : I work
To remove the anodize I use a French oven cleaner. I don't know if it's available in UK but Greased Lightning works great (http://monster.traxxas.com/showpost....8&postcount=15)
A truly impressive build. I'll be following closely!
60% Warn! WooooooT!!!
Thanks Popoxx. I'll have a look for some powerful oven cleaners, see what I can find.
Hey Popoxx, you have PM
E-Maxx on NiMH / Savage Flux on LiPO
I love those lunsford Ti rocker posts. I have em outfitted in both my trucks. So ridiculously light.
Nice looking truck
I run the Traxxas 7075 hard-anodized aluminum rocker posts, which are even lighter than the Lunsford Ti ones!
Also, use the Easy-Off Oven Cleaner (the can with the yellow cap), it works the best for removing anodizing, as well as removing the chrome on wheels, bumpers, or any other chrome-plated plastic part.
