I bought a use Revo 3.3 on ebay and im converting it electric.
I put in a Stock E-Revo tranny with E-Maxx motors and mounts.
I am looking at a two speed conversion and dont know which one to use (E-Maxx or E-Revo)
Does anybody have any pics of a converted nitro revo with a two speed E-Revo tranny. If you have any ideas on how i could mount the micro servo please post them.
Only thing I can tell you is that the two-speed attaches to the to a little nub on the tranny, so if you are using the E-Revo tranny you should probably use the E-Revo kit. I posted some pics:Originally Posted by Alex's Revo 3.3

The kits only differ in the mount and linkage, not the gears. Do you have room next to the right hand steering servo to place the micro servo?

Time is an illusion, "9am sharp" doubly so.
Hmm, thats a tricky one. I would suggest the e-maxx single speed conversion, since all you need to alter is the length of the shifting rod (extend the original pehaps?). Best place to stick the micro servo would be to the side of the steering servo with some CA glue or strong doubled side sticky pads (rather like the erevo method of mounting).
