    Possibly the clutch spring.

Take off your spur gear then remove the clutch bell. Make sure the spring around your clutch is intact. If its broke you need to replace it. The spring is a cheap fix it that's your problem.

Spin one tire and the other spins the opposite way is the normal operation of a differential. When the engine runs and you give it throttle and it does not move, then the slipper clutch is too loose. If you cannot push the vehicle while it is on the ground, then it is possible the clutch shoes/spring broke. Best indicators that it is indeed broken is that the truck wants to move when you start it and will only start with the tires off the ground and even then the tires spin while starting. Or the engine stalls when you come to a stop.

To bump and add to the thread, if I'm reading this right, if I can push my car on the ground (with the engine off) and the tires don't lock up, this is normal operation correct? Thanks
