I had a post on here before of my old emaxx. after 3 months of a complete teardown and rebuild it is finally back together and badder than ever.
3906 emaxx chassis (the purple parts have been powder coated)
wide track arms
hardened steel driveshafts
twin 820 KD motor setup
rebuilt metal geared 3906 tranny locked in 2nd gear.
IMEX Swamp Dawg Tires
Summit evx-2 with LVD.
Locked rear diff/LS front diff (for easier turning)
all new ceramic bearings throughout entire truck.
Home made Twin steering servo setup.
Upgrades to come:
Wanting to purchase a TMAXX roller and convert it over to emaxx spec. leave the automatic 2 speed tranny in. have lots of ideas for it.

This is my E-Maxx 3906 with a 73' Bronco Body, not much done to it, just wanted to show.
My all original E-Maxx 3906, no mods.
this is the misses 3906 e-maxx. i decided to upgrade the hubs and axles on it to the old ones I had on my t-maxx 3.3 (just waiting on new center shafts and front axels and hubs). also put the shocks from my 3.3 onto the emaxx. fitted a hpi grave robber body (still in the process of being stickered and finished off), rpm rear arms, rpm shock towers and rpm body post mounts. has a hitec steering servo on it and alloy servo horn, she likes the look of the old wheels n tyres so they are staying. am just waiting on rpm front arms, new motors (I havent decided on whether to run two titan 550 or two dewalt motors), evx-2 and new transmitter and reciever for it as the old one is pretty dated. is a work in progress but thought I would post it. cheers
Well got the Bronco body done! This thing is a blast! It's very hard to get it stuck haha I bought a pair of Lipo batteries (Venom 5000 7.4's) as the 8.4 NIMH's it comes with don't last 15 minutes..
2.4 2 channel radio
21T Titans w/ 20t pinions
Integy motor heat sinks w/ fans- homemade harness
tuned stock shocks
RPM F+R bumpers
RPM 3.2 revolver stableMAXX wheels
Proline Masher tires
Proline 73 Bronco w/ extended rear body mount
Venom 7.4 5000 Lipo's (still waiting for them)
That is a 1/12th Tamiya Lunchbox haha
My son's 3906.
My 31 year old nitro son came by and borrowed my 3906 to take for a trip to the country lol. He sent me some pics of him crawling with it lol. I have some work to do on it this week, it has two sheared bumper screws that new FLM X braces will take care of. As well as larger pinion gears, 18T to 20T and rebuild the trans, new bearings and idlers. Wheels and tires are getting replaced very soon. He had a blast with it.

This is my e maxx 775 titan

Here's my E-Maxx or so I called it the Mud-Maxx .
Did you say Traxxas?
Yes with or without lipos.
Another successful outing with my E-Maxx. After four dormant months following an ESC failure, I replaced it with a new Tekin RX-8 system with a 1700 kV truggy motor. Works beautifully as a thrashed body, mud splatters, and a destroyed roll bar-mounted light bar can attest.

Well the Web Link to the Gallery is here, http://captfiero.com/rccarstuff/EmaxxDirty
However here are the direct pics. In a smaller version.
I am splitting the pack up from 4 wide into 2 packs of 2 cells. So it will be 2x 20,000 mAh packs. One on each side roughly where the stock batteries would go. Each Tube is a 10,000 mAh LiPo single cell. I think running a pair of 2S LiPo's should at the least give me some good run time over my current 2x 3000mAh Nimhs. If I don't get enough Punch I'll add 2 more cells and run it as a pair of 3S LiPos bringing me up to 60,000mAh in the truck.
Some of my first upgrades of course lots more to come!
Rear RPM bumper
Front RPM bumper
RPM skid plate set
17 mm hub adapters
Traxxas center drive shaft upgrade
more coming later this month.

My pretty much stock e-maxx. Was a surprise birthday gift this past week. The only upgrades are RPM bulkhead braces and RPM skid plates.

Recently picked up a LaTrax Teton for my son and a Mini E-Revo for myself.
I've had an E-Maxx 3906 sitting in it's bin in my garage for about 8 years.
Just took it out and have to go over it before running it again... can't wait!
Wow... Mine looked just like that 10+ years ago!
Just finished painting my new body today.
My P40b WarHawk inspired...
