    98 4-Tec Restoration

Ive come to realize that I have a classic 2.5 4-Tec from 98 and Ive decided to try to rebuild it as close to stock as possible. I will be putting all of the build here and on Traxxas.com to keep you all informed on how it goes!. I have a picture of parts i need to install plus a stylish wheel. The other picture is a box of mixed parts from 4 cars and a boat. Shoutout to organization!

That's fantastic. I love a restore thread. Too many people nowadays just scrap them or Uber mod them.

That being said, I would probably go with a recent radio simply for control's sake. The 2.5 still being available helps tremendously.

I actually have the stock radio system at the moment. The only things i believe wont be original are the servos and engine.

Mine said 2018 but there's a chance they might not have been stock when I got it because I got the car used. Also the 2018 and 2055 are identical.
