the wheels (matrix) are from kyosho. actually foam tires and the rims are delivered in white. i'm sure he painted (or something like that) them by himself. here is the article number: e.g. MX-10A35K
I have an 393DMH. It's not so strong as the 390DMH, but slightly faster. The 396DMH is not strong enough for a summit, but very fast.
Here is a summery:
390DMH: 5.4 kgs / 0.11 sec
same here. my plastic gears were alright. i was excited and opened up the little motor. there it was. the brushes were almost all broken.
actually that was the reason why my servo broke.
Not in stock. The first thing you want are some real drift tires.
There are many options. You can buy them (e.g. HPI) or make them yourself (PVC or PE pipe). I prefer a PE-HD pipe.
The rest is...
I just tried my brand new center diff (stock 50k). A lot of improvement.
I run foam tires (35 shore) from LRP VTEC. 26mm front and 30mm back. At stock setup a lot of rollover's, because they have...
oh... the picture was just an example :D
i think that PE is better than PVC, because it's not so brittle like PVC. i can control the drift better with it. i paid 10 EUR for 1m (about 14 $ for 40...
25 shore - very soft - a lot of grip and wear
42 shore - very hard - less grip and wear
i would choose 35 to 42 shore for a parking lot.
I used a PE-HD pipe. The diameter with 63mm and a wall thickness of 5.8mm. Fits perfekt on the usual 1/10 rims. You can see a picture in the KB picture gallery.
The drift control is awesome.
i have a wheelie bar on my e-revo 1/16 from traxxas. it works very well and is durable. also long and straight wheelie's. but it says in the manual to dismount it for offroad.
Bought it on the __bay in Germany. It's a vintage 1/12 Body from the 80's. Manufacture was Robbe and it's a VW Golf mk1 Pickup (or VW Rabbit mk1 in the US) which doesn't exist in this form in 1/1...
Converted my KB Rally to Slash VXL with LED Light
Had the same with my stock shocks. The problem is the cap. There is no screw thread. I took a little teflon strip (picture below), wrapped it around the top of the shock and put the cap as usual on...
Lowered my merv with shocks and springs from my KB Rally VXL.
Added some Foam-Tires from Reely.
