My leds are also 12v capable, that way I just run them straight off the 3s battery balance lead
There's quite a few on this thread...
Did you calibrate the esc to the tx? If not then this is most likely the issue.
Squeegie had them on his Sl4sh and rated them, unfortunately each and every time I have e-mailed them with an enquiry they have never responded at all. ☹️
Yes, on short cut grass they are excellent [emoji3]
A bit like Trenchers, you can run them on any surface
If you want to you could just run it in training mode?
Esc - Hobbywing MAX10-SCT
Motor - KD 2700
Rx - Traxxas 6533
Tx - Traxxas 6528 + Bluetooth
Servo - PowerHD WP-23
Misc - Racers Edger glitch buster
A bit of Google-fu [emoji6] and it looks from the Traxxas diagram
Regarding on board sound, TSM and Telemetry options with the Sl4sh, the bottom line is both the 68077 and 68086 have TSM and then you need to decide whether the telemetry or the sound module is most...
Cool, there isn't really a wrong answer as at the end of the day it's your choice as you know what will fit best with what you want to do.
FYI, I have both 4wd and 2wd slashes and have no issues...
Fourth option - IMHO I do think that a 2wd slash would be a better choice for their first RC's
Just as good as the 4wd but cheaper to buy and maintain plus less complex to mod/fault find. Just...
"For less than $100, electronics can be added to let the computer control the Nitro or electric RC throttle, load levels, and timing of when those load levels kick in. This offers addition benefits...
I'll just leave this here... [emoji3]
No idea if it's any good tho!
You can use the app to turn the TSM assistance down to zero and then see it this makes any difference rather than swapping out the electronics
You may find it easier to work on if you remove the slipper assembly from the car
^^^ This, and additional height can be had by using spacers and longer screws for the mount to the shock tower itself
I've had no issues with the RPM ones & cannot remember when i last broke one. I think the first set is now around 5 years old :D
Mine started out life as a VXL Stampede...
Do you have any preload clips on the front shocks? If so then removing them/reducing the number of them will do exactly this for you.
Otherwise it's down to how you run the front shocks - add...
I think it's more about market forces and boils down to asking why, once Traxxas came out with their own LCG kit for the 2wd at under $30 ($27.99 @ Tower) would you then buy the STRC kit at $50 PLUS...
The Power HD WP-23 definitely does not need a BEC. I initially ran mine with a MMP & a glitch buster only.
From the info above it looks like it also runs fine without a glitch buster cap, however...
DE Racing make some, Borrego or Speedline
You can use any m3 hex screw.
Screw in from the front and add a nyloc nut.
Makes general maintenance much easier
TBH I have only ever run with a glitch buster cap tucked away inside the rx box and they can be had for only $5.
I have no steering issues running 2.8s on revolver 3.2s (Trenchers or badlands). Oh...
