17mm MIPS ore the only real way to go. Kind of a pain but well worth it.
also gearing down on 3s is required, to avoid a meltdown...
MMP / 2400 castle combo, very common and very robust setup.
If you run the cage, you will need or highly recomend a higher output motor / esc or extreme gearing down due to the weight. you can run a undertray or screen mesh under the cage to keep grass /...
Second all what these guys says. I have a stampede father in-law slash. They both have there pros/ cons like everything but I sure like my pede better :)
Can I use the stock E-MAXX / E Revo diff, guts in all in the Stampede without having issues? I just chewed up my first diff this past weekend and looking for something heavier to handle the 2400cc.

did you have to file out the slots in order to get the pins in ?
Check your end points, if it gets to far to a side they can jam up and strip. I was going tough a set a run till I figured out it was my issue.
I just did the same to mine yesterday, all egged out. I was getting a very hard diff out prior... Seems to be running straight now, well until I blew another tire off it...
I have the same setup, except I ran a zip tie over the esc; that really locks it in place.
17mm hexes are going to be a must. That castle will strip them out like its their job ...
yes, they do...
I run the Slash 4x4 RPM bumper,...
I set my esc's to 3.2-3.3 volts some folks set them higher yet.
Yup they work very well, really stiffing up the frame.

2wd or 4wd slash?
