I got my light bar installed. Pretty easy intallation.
Does anybody have one installed yet? Traxxas finally released it for the Stampede 4x4. I've got one on order.
You will need more than a 3rd channel to operate the LEDs from the transmitter, you will need an led light controller.
I want to see a roll cage made of high impact nylon, a roll bar that mounts to the body with light pods, and a rear bumper that mounts to the wheely bar to complete the look of the truck.
By the way for the front and rear camber links I used 3741A, and for the steering links I used 3139A.
For the front and rear camber links I had to pop out the stock cone shaped balls from the...
I installed the blue turnbuckles all the way around on my 4x4.

The flash from my camera makes the blue brighter than it really is. The dimmer the lighting the darker the blue will look and give off an almost purplish hue.
In the sun the body is as blue as my...
Does it look purplish in the sun?
Mine is Blue:
There is about a half inch gap between the roof of the body and the top of the cage.

I haven't run the pede 4x4 with the cage yet.

What do you all think of this cage?
I bought one to try out.
I however would like to see RPM or Team...
If you want the best then
In this video you can see an optioned out Stampede 4x4 with the LED light bar.
When will the Stampede 4x4 LED light bar be available from Traxxas?
Try white wall tire cleaner or the Mr Clean Magic Eraser to get those white parts white.
The truck will not only be longer but will be about an inch wider. Looks like the body will be larger also to accommodate wider track width and longer wheel base.
Everything you listed will fit the older 4909 T maxx. The RPM stuff is cross compatible with all the maxxes including the E maxx and current 4907 T maxx except the center skid which there is a...
I wonder if the side by side comparison picture is an actual size reference between the old model and the new model of the Slayer?
Now we know why the Slayer has been on backorder for so long.
Looks to be a nice update of the Slayer! I hope it becomes more popular also.
That sounds good, I'd like to buy them.
