The stock 18/65. I just drive around at 50% throttle with the occational 100% burst.
2x MaxAmps 2s 6500's. I usually get 75 min run times.
I had the same problem as maximus73 it turned out the ball bearing on the spur gear failed.
This is on the stock gearing 18/65.
Are they suppose to make a buzzing noise when they're in the neutral position?
As the title suggest what is the hottest you should let your ESC get?
Does anybody have any experience with these particular batteries? If so what is your take on them?
Mine was already on the Auto Lipo setting but I would double check it to be safe.
Was that really necessary? Just make sure the wheels are on nice and tight also I would tighten the slipper clutch all the way then back it off 1/8" of a turn the default setting is way too loose.
More like "Brushless erevo has noob problems."
Sounds like all the above to me.
Edit: That and I think 6s is way too much for this truck.
This is nothing new I've seen several guys with the same problem. You just got to tighten the slipper all the way then loosen it 1/8" of a turn.
On an unrelated note I hate that your messege cannot be shorter then 10 letters.
My buddy called castle the other day and they told him to use the Auto Lipo setting so.
Yep you're right.
I'm just curious do you guys hammer the throttle from a dead stop or run 6s?
Those standing backflips will do it everytime but they sure are fun!
According to the manual the default setting for the LVC is off.
The included gearing is 18/65
That is what it says on the piece of paper that was packaged with the gear.
Here is what the manual says.
5mm Turnbuckle wrench
4 way wrench
antenna nut wrench
glow plug wrench
1.5mm "L" wrench
2.0mm "T" wrench
Here you go.
Here are some more pics in order newest to oldest.
Sure I'll take some more pics later on this evening.
If I known everyone was going to fuss about it I would have never posted those pics. Yes it is REAL I got it at my LHS up in Dayton, Ohio on 02/20/2009. I haven't had the chance to drive it yet due...
Here's my ERBE I just got her last night.
