You have either a bad tune or you need to adjust the tranny shift point
The temp sensor goes mid way around the head, and the rpm sensor reads off the fly wheel.
Try again with a hot glow igniter. Should fire right up.
Looks like the wheel was put on incorrectly then tightened too tight.
Gonna try to get some speed run vids up soon.
Those jumps can get expensive, thats why I stay on road.
I have drilled out factory resonater and it performs quite well however I have never tried the ths pipe. My buddy put one on his jato he has a 2 chamber ths and he says its a big difference in...
There is no way you should have to spend 6 bills on up grades. Take the thing out, break it in properly, and have some fun with it. I always say, if you up grade before you drive the thing you won't...
Well there you go
Recently did a mild port job on my sleeve and crank. And there is a nice difference in idle and performance. With the 40/20 gears, lowered ride height, drilled out stinger, this thing is hauling....
Your english is fine, my advice,.... WORK ON YOUR TUNING GAME. Nuff said
There's more to a Jato than just keeping it clean, the most important thing is to work on your tuning game.
If I were you I would wait until you break something, and that may be awhile. No sense in spending money when you don't have too.
A heavier diff oil wont hurt, it will help to give more traction and a little more even wear. Personally I run a spool and I see pretty even wear on my Jaco Foams as well as my Anacondas.
How about a 80 mph out of the box E Jato. Now that would be something. Although I love the Jato, I would like to see a upgraded format, perhaps a Platinum series or something. Maybe their waiting on...
Good info guys, I have a Losi carb on my 3.3 and it works great. Granted you have to take a little time to tune, but once dialed in, awesome. Good carb for the price, and holds a pretty good tune.
By the way, hows that mod motor working? Do you think it can handle 600 plus feet? We like to stretch them out down here.
Slayer I'm not going to go buy a brand new jato just for a challenge. Thats crazy. Run what you brung. If you beat me, you beat me, but I aint scared.
Hold the brake disc the nut will come off
1000 plus feet straightaway on road only.I keep a spare diff just encase I want to do some ovals or what ever. But for the most part its flat out straight.
Go back to factory settings, fresh fuel, new glow plug. Is there fuel moving through the line to the carb?
Basic physics, one tire turning versus two tires turning, which one is going to take off faster? While your spinning that one tire I'm gone!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing special,3.3, rpms front & rear,40/20 gears mild porting and a little crank work, drilled out blue resonator pipe, jaco foams, losi carb. Shooting for 70 plus
Not new to the hobby just something I haven't tried. Zane the Jato has so many hop ups. You just have to build to suit your needs.
Whats up guys been an active reader for sometime now, and you guys have a lot of useful info. Just wondering, if I remove the gears in the diffs, and replaced with a spool could that change my ratio?...
