PL trannie seemed good at first, but we went through 2 of them. First was replaced under warranty, next failure (approx 30 days later) they sent a parts list needed to repair/upgrade the gears, that...
Loose dirt/sand, and a bit of mud. The Badlands hook up better than others I've tried.
It was pretty sloppy yesterday.
Thanks for the clarification Rag6.
Anxiously waiting on my LCG kit to arrive.
Carnage on Sunday, ordered replacement parts today, and a few farkles to go along with it.
I can't help myself! - Danny @ Counts Customs.
Will the Traxxas aluminum bell crank work (3743X)? Also not sure what you mean by super tall hollow balls... pic?
Thanks for the reply. Sounds like a good starting point.
No - always un plugged. Had a hot battery ready to go do some more bashing.
Yes - before I knew about storage voltage. But this is the case with the other battery as well. I also stored them fully...
How can that be avoided, the car auto shuts down when the battery gets low. The esc is set to default values. also, I treat both batteries the same, and the other one is showing no bulges.
I ordered it from A Main on 2-14-13, will try them first.
It looks a bit more dramatic in person.... If it matters the bulging part is soft, reminds me of a bubble under a decal.

No. ESC (CC SCT) set to lipo shut off.
Onyx 235 Set to battery specs, always use balance.
7.6V. Stored in a lipo bag in a fireproof box at room temp.
Safe to use? Just noticed it this weekend, it's been stored for about 2 months. I charged to storage capacity before putting it away.
It's a Traxxas 2S, 25C, 7600
Thanks in advance.
Thought of that... I've thought about going to the after market stuff. Is the TA a direct replacement?
Thanks for the reply.
I read where some adjust their slipper clutch to 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 turns and more from fully seated.
If I go past 1/2 turn the car just sits there.
I can hear it work properly at 1/4 to 3/8...
Guess all I lack is getting started. Thanks for the tips.
You guys do some nice work. Haven't done a body yet, but have a PL Tundra cut out and fitted.
Guess I'm a bit reluctant to muck it up. My biggest deal is forcing myself to take my time.
That's great. I've never had to warranty anything by RPM.
For the pro line haters - they (PL)compensated me for an out of warranty pl racing trannie. Told them I didn't want another as this one...
Never had a problem with RPM stuff, some of the best fitting aftermarket stuff I've found. Had lots of other carnage though...
Pause for dramatic effect?
Is that what a soft pack looks like? Ours are Traxxas brand and look similar to what was in the vid posted above.
I have to say I have been complacent, and ignorant...
Tighter than .... uh, never mind.
4mm bullet connecters on the way. Think I might stagger the connections to make sure they don't rub a bare spot in the heat shrink.
Welcome back to the addiction  I'm a relative newbie to this, so will let the more experienced give battery advise.
I found this link useful for initial stock class legal tweaking.
Any point in taping the fronts on a 2WD Slash?
I'm not having a switch problem, I'm having a connector problem. Please start another thread about the switch.
I don't think it's a heat issue, it usually runs in the 120's for the motor, and...
No problems with the wire connections, and I don't pull on the wire. The post/socket that the wire connector plugs into on the esc is what is breaking, and both times it's been when unplugging the...
