Protoform makes one, I'm not sure if they still do though. I THINK HPI Racing has one too.
Simple Green, simply works awesome. (get it, simple, simply :P)
When I had my 4-tec, in the 3 years of owning it, I only had one pebble get stuck in the gears, and the street in front of my house has a ton of tiny pebbles.
Shaft driven is smoother, but all the...
A straight header won't work well at all. First of all, it will be as loud as a dirt bike going full throttle, then the engine run won't well at all because of the lack of backpressure. It would just...
Sorry, it's sold with the car. The car is not for sale yet. I'll let everyone know if I'm going to sell it or not.
I'm sure I eventually will buy a car and get back in it. I don't know, maybe I'll keep my crt or something. Selling it is not final yet, but it's sitting there collecting dust for now.
Good luck dude! Unfortunately I'm getting out of r/c cars. My Jato will be for sale soon. Got my license a couple months back and I need money for my 1973 Datsun 240z project.
If you look at the right places, the carbon fiber itself will only cost $5 for each top plate. That's 2mm carbon fiber, not 1/1.5mm.
It's good that he did it with a nearly stock Jato. It shows that the Jato can be competitive without an insane amount of mods.
Hah! You think the Traxxas one is expensive? Have you looked at the prices of a square foot of 4mm carbon fiber?
Aluminum is a much better material for something like a chassis. When forces are acting on aluminum it just flexes and goes back to shape. Carbon fiber will do the same but at a much more rapid rate....
Make sure to install the spacer mod on that TZ.
Well, the pro .15 can actually be ran very hot. 260-280 can be considered a normal operating temperature. You can go up to 320 safely with no problem. I would be careful though if it went past 325.
I highly doubt that. The HSN cannot compensate for a lean low-end without acting very erratically. By the way he describes his engine it just sounds to be a bit rich.
Good luck finding another company with better customer service than Traxxas.
Your slipper is too tight. The tranny on the Jato is extremely strong. After all, it handles a 3.3 with no problem. Do you have an engine with more torque than a 3.3 in there? People have fitted...
It's ok to keep running it rich as long as you have the engine above 200 degrees fahrenheit. But I would recommend leaning the hsn a little and tune it like how it was supposed to run. The unburned...
Re-adjust your linkage. Loosen the collar on the rod, make sure the throttle is at neutral, then slide it against the servo horn and re-tighten. Make sure the carb does not move at all when going...
Where in so cal are you?
All that would do is make the engine run insanely lean when injected. Extremely bad for the motor.
Yea, just bend it 90 degrees so it's level with the chassis, then it can act as a better bumper along with the shock tower brace.
You guys have to know that a supercharger IS going to make a small performance increase. Probably no more than going up 5% in nitro. It's not like all the boosted air/fuel is going to just run out to...
Cool brace, but I would highly recommend you remove the part that hangs below the chassis. Bottoming out will create a tremendous amount of force on those 5 screws.
Nice ride dude. Hmmm, what kind of tricks are you talking about?:p
Do some searches in the t-maxx forums. I have seen some people mount the ez-start controller onto their t-maxx and made brackets that attached to the controller that holds the micro servo.
