the ancer to your problem could very be you need a 30 mmflywheel, it is vented and will stop your clutch from overheating, replace the clutch as well with a high stall clutch since the revo is so...
starter box all the way, unless you like buying OWB's. yes they are heavy and are to lug around, but they are the best as long as your engine is well tuned. you will also need a glow plug ingitor....
3pm all the way if you are on a budget. if you want to stend more momey, then a JR or a stectrum,it all depends on your budget IMO. all depends on onn y0ut budget, by all means geta fm radio.
traxxxas nd mip clutches and springs are the beat
if Integy w0uold give me a countless suply of all of products i would put thebon sale on ebay, they make the worst aftermarket parts available.
just buy a new body.
instead of doing all of those mods to a 3.3, very costly, why not just buy a more powerfull engine?
this is not the market place.
the downfall to a pullstart, easystart or a rotostart or a tiger drive is you still have to deal with a OWB. starter boxes and glow plug ignitors are the best bet.
if the stock con.rod was strong enough why would RB mods make a srtonger updated one?
if first gear was chewed up, the car would never move, like a stripted spur gear, it maybe shifting too early or the slipper is too loose.
yes, yes and yes, the exhaust if leaking from anywhere will not supply the fuel tank with enough pressure, like having a weak fuel pump on a real 1 to 1 car.
this is why most dual exhaust systems are refered to as engine killers.
why do most people tune only by temps. and not use them as a guide line?
if the con. rod is not a problem, why would RB mods make a upgraded version, some people are sill in denial, a terrible thing.
let's be honest here, most 2.5 engines have never had a con.rod failure, 3.3 con.rod failures are very common, the 3.3 is advertised to make 60% more power than the 2.5, should that tellyou something?
zoooman jato is 100% right, if you are racing or just bashing, you can pull the car or truck in with the engine still running and refill the tank and keep going, it is nota electric motor that will...
it only is common sence, a larger carb. is required for a larger engine, the 2.5 and the 3.3 share the same carb and header, if the engine is larger it needs more air flow, every engine is a air...
you may also have defective batteries, asmentioned above makesure the batteries are installed properly in the radio and the reciever.
most dual exhaust pipes are engine killers, they do not produce enough back pressure, causing the engine to lean out as rpm's increase, with too little back pressure the fuel tank will not have...
the vantage pipe is not all that, it will not only leak but is very brittle.
most 3.3 jato's have the common problem of a slipper clutch being set too loose, be carefull, tighten the nut on the slipper clutch in 1/4th increments, if too tight, trans gear dammage will result....
the stock jato shocks ate the lightest. if you want to loose some weight, ditch the easystart.
the only problem with the roto start is it is hard on OWB's, but it does shed a lot of weight. if you can deal with the pull start the OWB's will last longer. the back plate and starter box is best,...
install a new glow plug first, then start tuning.
