Bump! To the top!
The time has come for me to sell my beloved Summit. I have had a lot of fun with this thing but sadly I don't have much time to use it anymore. My wife and I are starting a family and...
Looks like a pretty good process. I might have added some dielectric grease to the internal connectors before mating the halves.
It begs the question though. If it was this simple why doesn't...
Nice mod, looks a little better than another one I have seen around. Where are you mounting the second receiver? What do you intend to do with the extra channels?
So who is going to be the test rat with the XErun? Hobbypartz has $50 off sensored systems at the moment.
I tried dyeing the stock camber links green using a mixture of kelly green and yellow from RIT. The green overwhelmed the yellow (even though I mixed 2 parts yellow to 1 part green) and the part came...
Gee I never thought of that. Great insight.
This was the first run with lipos in the Summit so my first time using the LVA in an inclosed battery compartment. On my other models I...
Just ran with my LVA installed for the first time on the summit. I unplugged the batteries from the ESC (I had only drained the pack down to about 3.8V/cell ) yesterday about 5pm....

Well, it seems the engineers are poking around the X0-1 forums alot, so one could PM them and hope for the best.
Where I work currently I could test the gears and find out their hardness. This...
At my previous job we worked with liquid nitrogen (the working fluid for cryo treatments) I am still on very good terms with some guys working there. I could likely have a few gear sets treated for a...
*subscribed as I have a similar intrest.
Mine should arrive tomorrow :)
Cryo is a good treatment of gears, but I feel a basic heat treatment and appropriate quench might net us more. (Depending on if/how the current gears are heat treated)
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I will give it a good look, check the simple things like all screws present, check pinion and spur mesh and the action of the dampers.
I am a big fan of the...
This will be my first topic in the Summit forum. Right now in some brown truck somewhere in America, my used Summit is on its way to me.
I aquired this truck from someone here on the...
Interested in the same comparisons myself.
