Sounds good, thankyou for the help!
My question is, can you glue Proline tires to a non-Proline rim if that rim is the correct size for the tire? In Other words can the pro line tires be glued to other rims or they specifically...
I've used the flex seal spray on bodies. Flex seal by itself eventually cracked and flaked off. Flex seal over drywall tape better and made the truck super quiet. But drywall tape with shoe goo is...
Good choice, got the Tekno and its way better I think. No flexing or bending and doesn't rattle around like the stock.
Yessir, they supposed to look like that. Toe in.
Lets see it!
In my new and struggling RC racing career I've noticed that I'm the only dude at the track racing with a Slash? My question is to those out there who own both Losi's and Slash's. What's the reason...
Cool! Really had a good time there. Good group of guys working the place as well. Got your msg, maybe next time?!
It really was. Thing about the indoor track is that it doesn't lose the moisture like the outdoor tracks I've run on. Crazy grip all day long.
Lundsford titanium hinge pins work great. They use the e-clip system and they are waaaaay light.
While visiting some family over wknd in Reno NV. decided to bring along the ol' Slash for some me time. Looked up local RC tracks and this one popped up - Traction Raceway. The track was perfectly...
Didn't word that properly, was thinking that he maybe had charged a lipo batt that was separate with the stock charger that came with the truck. In other words charging a lipo batt in NIMH mode....
Are u sure it was a lipo batt? My ultimate came with a NIMH batt. Just a thought.
Amazing. Congrats. You've hand built a better handling truck than what I paid $600 for. Traxxas should take notice.
Track is called Delta RC and its located in Antioch, CA. Open everyday except Monday for open practice. $10 for all day. Pretty rad.
Roughneck. Are you an actual roughneck? I work in heavy marine construction so I admire all those that are in the same type of industry. And of course those that rock the Slash 4x4!!!
Thats what I asked. Add sugar to water and add dirt ya get super sticky surface. The guy in the pic (Craig) emptied two 50lb sacks of sugar onto the track prior to race time. Makes for way better...
Thanks Sob. Anytime, would like to get out there and do some practice/testing and maybe a little of friendly racing! Need to get ya out there in a sat. night and get ya racin'!
Ha?! Welcome back LB! I knew you'd come back! Yes dude we need to get out there, especially down at the Clayton Creek track! Set up the cones and dust off the scoreboard! Lets do it!
Happened with TWO Velineons, now on third and final.
Thanks. Tracks close by too! Thought it was interesting how they sprinkle it with sugar before the race then wet it?! Learning alot of new things about it, pretty cool.
Will do, wife got some pics but too far away to do any justice. Maybe I'll have her bring the handheld next time. iPhone didnt work so well for getting any good shots.
Thanks! Actually got my wife to come with me this time. Think I may have to bring her along everytime, apparently she brought me very good luck. Of course I did have to put up with her reminding me...
