Ok, so no hope so far...
Can anybody confirm if I can bind a FRSky Taranis to the Alias? Are any special modules required?
Nice find. Traxxas techs can now ask their customer if they notice any binding of the ESC fan.
Thanks for the report!
Ive observed mostly positive things from my research on the stock ESC. People are so quick to "hop-up" their ride...
I have the Brushless E-Revo, Nitro Revo, and a couple older maxx trucks that need to be sold. So yeah. The Brushless Revo needs some repairs.
It would. Not a lot of good spots to race around here.
Does anybody in the region own an X-maxx? Really dying to see one in person!!!
Is that place even around anymore? What about the Blue Diamond track in new Castle?
You should probably go play with your other favorite winter RC then, until spring...
I need a buddy to justify the $800!!! Hurry up! Lol
Likewise buddy. This X-maxx might just push me back into the hobby. That is... Next year, when it's finally available. Lol
Hence why this truk wasn't designed with 8S in mind or 60 mph. You will rip the body with 6S too, even on the E-Revo. But with 8S you made the problem worse.
Why not purchase a nice buggy...
Nice man. Sounds like an easy fix... (slightly longer screw on that bumper)
This is a heavy truck. It's going to suffer most in cold weather. It's a given. Same for all the other maxx vehicles, but they benefit from less weight. No matter how you cut it, cold weather bashing...
Is the stock controller on the X-maxx really all that bad?
Curious to know if there are any Delawareans already enjoying the X-maxx.
I am in Newark, looking forward to picking one up as soon as it's back in stock.
What is bubble balancing and how is it achieved?
Best comparison yet.
But this is not a buggie and it's application and size are very different. Did the E-Revo come with a center diff? But we still survived... [emoji4]
Exactly. This thing is a basher. If you are trying to perfect traction for racing applications then you have the wrong truck IMO. The slippers are tunable for a reason. And so is the transmitter/ESC....
I bash randomly during the week.
Yeah, here's another RC crew that is in hiatus. lol
Random spots around newark. I've yet to visit Blue Diamond in the last 2 years.
Right, this is key. Create a little "flat spot" when you cut the strands so as to create a good fit with the connector at the time of the weld.
