I have my SV3 on top of my receiver box. The box is mounted to the main chassis against the rear shock tower.
This time no. The highest I recorded was a 118. This time I had a bad ending. I applied the brakes, truck went into slide and I broadsided a curb. Fortunately the damage is minimal, front bumper and...
Well guys. GPS told me the truck ran 46mph! Not too shabby for only 2S. I had the throttle pegged for a few seconds. I was running out of real estate pretty fast too. Whether or not it had anymore...
Strap/zip tie. I have a Griffin Survivor.
Not certain. I'll have to strap my phone to it and do a speed run.
I installed a SV3 6900Kv system last night in my Stampede. Geared 17/87, 5.4lbs, 2S pack. Has all the appropriate upgrades.
The truck is an absolute rocket ship. There really isn't a need 3S, it's a...
It's just a cycle. Play it hard, break it hard. I don't think it has EVER been thrashed on like it was today. It will be undergoing an extensive rebuild.
It was a collection of damages in a 3 hour period.
Today. Not by me. The Summit had a very, very bad day. Chassis, front bulkhead, wheel nut, tire tore open, steering bell crank , steering post, rear differential, battery door, rear cvd flew out....
[QUOTE=t-savage;5368351]Get some MERV driveshafts for it. Thats the only thing that will break. :)[/Q
I went out today. Went against best wishes and had a rear axle fly out. Lucky I found the axle, but without the drive and cross pins. Are those sold individually?
I had to Dremel my battery compartments for my LiPo's to fit. I tucked the balance wires between the motor and esc.
This time out I tamed down my driving style a bit. Still a wheelie monster. This thing would probably be useless or just a complete handful off road on 3S. The 55T spur isn't helping the matter.
I've had several oils in the diff. Even auto 80W90. I've found the teflon tape or silly putty works the best for me. I couldn't wait this evening and changed the cup out. I've gotten pretty good at...
Just placed my order for shims and the internal gear set. I guess it's back to a teflon tape filled rear end or silly putty. Not a true locker how I like. It will give enough not to wind up breaking...
My lhs had the cups in stock. No gears or shims. I will have to order those. Hopefully my driveline won't need much more.
It's been apart quite a few times. Never felt loose.
I'll check the mesh when I replace the drive cup. It will be going back to an open diff as well.
No. I've had the truck for 2 years. Never had any ring and pinion issues.
My Summit is now running a full MErv suspension. I also have Traxxas CVD's and a rear differential lock. Ran fine with stock power cells. Went to LiPo. Different animal all together. So, with that...
I smoked my stock NiHM P.C's/ESC. I haven't heard anything negative about LiPo PC's other than price. If you can handle that. You should be fine.
It's brushless. It's one of the very first BL systems Novak released. Not rated for LiPo power. That's not really an issue.
I am stuck between a rock in a hard place. I want to have a waterproofed and brushless Stampede. My current one is a Gen1 black chassis 2WD. Right now it is a bit beat down. Turnbuckles, shocks, rear...
I got 14 minutes of run time today. Stock battery.
Are you sure it's just not cogging really bad? What batteries are you using? Are you using the stock gear ratio?
