are you using the stock XL2.5 or an XL5?ESC?
^^ k thanks. thats the answer i was looking for :)
I know its made for 550's, but i didnt know if it had the multiple sets of mounting holes, Such as the 1/10 scale summits motor mount. they have i think 3-4 sets of holes for the 775, 550 and some...
Does the Brushed motor mount, like in the brushed rally's and Summits, have the mounting holes for 550 motors as well as 380 size motors? Ive searched and looked, but cant find anything.
At my local track, the novice is like an open class where any type of car/truck can run. Look to see if your local track has one. I often run my MERV and mini slash in the novice class if there's not...
yeah, i broke mine off once before. Just solder them back on. No need for a new motor. Unless you're using that as an excuse to upgrade:rolleyes:
one of my fav pics. its about 20ft high.
sorry. plz delete
My ERBE jumping. its about 20ft high in this picture.
for the most part, yes, any 2 x 2s lipos will fit, however you THESE styles do not fit without modding (link to random battery in that style) because the leads come straight out top.
We have a nice indoor track and soon to be another out door track here in Clackamas right off of hwy 212. It might be a little drive, but its still a track i guess.
those are really sweet videos!
OK this is just stupid. Yes I forgot about the remaining $15. For the other things, Yes there loose screw because i had to take the wing off to fit in the box, not everywhere.. There was very little...
Trade for near perfect rustler VXL?
well, It sounds like the springs aren't strong enough to push the truck back up, like you said lol. Try some stiffer springs, and/or some thinner shock oil.
Do you drive in the wet often?
Happy Birthday Al!!!!
I live in Portland and use the MMP/2400KV combo... Why does it need to be waterproof? I never like to drive my nicer RC's in the rain/wet anyways so no problem. Thats what my rustler VXL is for :)
Use the search feature.. There are TONS of threads on brushless systems and on the VXL. But to answer your question, Yes it is a good system for the slash. Ive had mine in my slash for over a year.
Do you have a link to the kit you used? I ahve some extra traxxas stuff I could throw in one of these. looks great!
from OP - "and rock crusher tires" ;)
very nice body!
congrats on the new truck! you'll enjoy it! :)
nope. They're shorter.
thats pretty high gearing, especially with those huge mashers. I run 18/86 with my larger wheels.
