i bake because it has worked for me in the past
when i line up the pinion and spur and push them around. i can see the spur get tight in some places and have the paper gap in others.
whats wrong with this? is it time for a new spur?
did you try blue thread lock?
i had that issue once on 3s, used a little blue and it never happened again

Forgive me for finding that hard to believe, i ran 19/86 today with 17mm hexes on 3s and it was crazy...
