If wanting handling stick with stock size motor and a castle sv3 or mmp.
saw one listed on ebay for sale.
anyone know how this body would work.
Scale: 1/14 Tacon Thriller Short Course Truck
Length: 360mm (14.17in)
Width: 210mm (8.26in)
Height: 135mm (5.3in)
Wheelbase: 225mm (8.86in)
Thanks, was hoping someone may have known something
Anyone with any suggestions
Does anyone know if there are any 1/14 or 1/12 short course bodies that may fit a merv and cover the wheels like the mini slash does.
My gpm rods are holding up great, its the plastic ends that wear and start to oval out thats the problem. But buying spare ends works.
with less teeth on the hr unit do you think it will change the gear ratio much?
I saw being sold on ebay already.
Look into the spc 2s 2500 ma. Good batteries and good prices.
Thanks for the comparison. Mine should be here mon or Tues
Mine hit also, so I just added a small spacer on top of two of the ones installed on each bulkhead. The two screws closest to the center skid with a spacer and have full travel now
Can u get the nut loose with a socket.
Looks like the one I have had for months
looks good, i like it
deffently look smaller then the summit tires
when you order them, get a package or replacement ends to have on hand.
the inside of mine melted around the spider gears. was running 100k fluid.
I have been loving my 2s 2500 spc's. Easy 45 mins or more run time on a castle 5700.
Incorrect gear mesh can make noise. Trans doesnt need fluid.
I had 100k and it was stiff to turn by hand, but no binding.
I just snugged up the screws after filling it and mine turned smooth. Chech to make sure your spider gears are fully seated into position.
Guess the HR isnt what I thought then. Shame traxxas doesnt make theirs in metal.
Did have 31/55.
Anyone know if the HR center diff is metal like the front and rear diffs or also plastic.
filled with 100k fresh before installing. was running stock motor on 2s in parallel.
