What do you currently have installed in your slash?
Like O.G. said Id suggest getting a heat sink for the motor as well maybe a fan/heat sink combo.
Today I upgraded my slash 4x4 to a platinum. I added Traxxas sway bar kit, c-hubs/steering block, rear axel stubs. Also added some rpm mud flaps.
Do you run a fan on your esc and motor? That might help if you don't. Also you can pretty much waterproof any esc and motor, there are a few methods out there for doing that.
I have a new body I haven't painted. I'm going to do this after I finish my body. Thanks for the info!
Does that battery pack you made for the fans get hot at all? I was looking to do something like that to my slash since I run both esc and motor fan.
I was told if the gearing is stock it should be fine running a 3s lipo as long as you got a esc & motor heat sink fan. I'm actually looking a good priced 3s lipo myself.
Ontario, California here. Any locals on here?
I browsed the video section and remember seeing some of your videos. What motor are you currently running in your slash?
How's it going everyone. So I'm in the market for a new Motor and ESC Combo. I'm having a hard time choosing what I want. I want something that's fast so I can bash & race with. I was looking at...
Not sure but I have a spare slash 4x4 and looking to do something with it like convert it to a blackslash or a gt-8. Curious to find out of they sell a complete kit!
His videos are really good I could watch them from start to finish and never have to skip. His videos really got me wanting a crawler.
I can also say these guys are legit! I purchased a few items from them through ebay at first then I decided to go through the site directly and never had a problem.
Really digging the body and how your slash sits!
Yeah I ended up just running the motor fan directly to the receiver and then the esc fan to the esc aux. Thanks for the replies everyone!
So would it be safe to wire both fans together and then plug them into the esc?
I made a post earlier with the similar question. Would you recommend me wiring both the esc fan and motor fan together and then plugging that into one source being (Esc or Rx) Or would it be better...
So I have recently picked up a Motor Fan and looking to get a ESC fan for my slash and was wondering what you guys suggest for the initial setup. I know I can plug the esc fan directly to the esc...
Yeah I think I have to adjust the toe in. Most likely I'm going to upgrade parts little by little just looked bent to me more then the other side. It runs good at high speeds no wobble. Thank you...
Do you recommend me getting aluminum ones? Since these are plastic stock ones.
Yeah the other side doesn't look at bent as the bottom one. Idk how it can bend if it's plastic parts? Maybe warped over time?
How's it going everyone before anyone bashes me I just want to say I'm new to the RC scene so this question may seem stupid to some of you. I recently bought a Slash 4x4 used and I just now noticed...
