the 7700 is fine with a 6 cell nimh even a 4cell can work cause i ran it in my 12th scale with no problems, ran it in grass everywhere and no heat issues geared 16/90 and i could go around a onroad...
get a nice dremel tool and jangify it
glad to see your back. im quiting the hobby too and going into flatland/bmx. but i'll come back once in a while. might pick up a 1/16 e-revo to keep me occupied
my slash was the show stopper. everytime i take it out someone or some dog starts chasing after it. luckily i have a 7700 in it. raced full sized cars and a dump truck which nearly ran over my slash....
hey jang did you say that buggy tires provide little traction for 2wd? if so what tires could i use?
how does it drive? does it jump better? and what bodies can i put on it instead of the mp777 and mbx5?
mm7700 slash, 47.3mph, next plan...... get a less needy motor
im gonna have to replace a radio cause the batteries got so hot that it started to melt the plastic. oh plus karter15 i think your talking bout the bladder...
i just converted a atx computer power suppy and its still workingand i only spent around 30
firsrt scuff the cells lightly with a dremel and clean off any remaining particles. then tin the cells. solder on the battery bars(someone said that soldering on the negative side first is easier,...
idk they all look the same:lol:....... anyways im gonna build a backslash, does it handle like a real buggy?
plus you used a nitro MT hub? that fits?
well is the oil that thick? cause the kind im talking about is very thick it's used to waterproof, and seal windows
would silicone grease work?
they should change it every week
get a mamba max with a medusa v2 36-50-3300
no, your body is definately an MBX5, jang's is the 777. i was just wnodering if that body would fit the slash.
have you tried putting that body on a slash? i just love the shape of the MBX5 body, only if it could fit
so maybe the 7700 is too much for the mamba? maybe i should get a 5700 or a medusa 36-50-3300
i had my mamba for a year and it had tons of problems and got it replaced 2 times already! do you guys have any problems? how do you prevent problems?i usually run a 7700 w/ 6cells and sometimes...
made a nice battery jig out of wood, 2 jumps, helped build a track, and right now im building my own gen3 xmod:lol:
started 8th last week, school wasn't so bad. the only class i hate is IDS. school takes up all my time so now i can't get my mamba fix cause i can't get ahold of castle before 5:mad:
1 1/2 weeks, then 1 1/2 weeks later my esc went out, wonder what's gonna happen on the 4 1/2th week? dead reciver?
all i know is that you have to be very smooth and it loves BIG jumps. i raced against a t4 and rustlers and won by a landslide but the drivers weren't that experienced
i got over 30 mins with my 7700 onroad and 15mins doing continuous speed runs
i feel your pain. i first pluged in my eps and no response from the esc so i put the mamba max in and, that died and it was new! so now i got a hold of castle and school just strted and kansas...
