well it really depends but a castle mamba max pro or a vxl are probly the best for all around
the slash front wheels DO have more offset than the rears the slash 2wd rear wheels have the same offset as the slash 4x4 wheels and i believe the rear wheels are about 1/4 offset

The protrac arms are the same with as the stock rear arms. I dont have the kit but sounds like there very stiff and strong.
