Here it is!
Here is our Camaro. The wife and I have to share it.
Can you still buy the vintage camaro body that fits the 1/16 chassis? I have a real 69 Camaro and want to make a copy of it.
Yeah like above he snapped the output on one side and put a twist in the other side. Need a slipper so that the stress is taken out on the clutch pads instead of your more expensive parts.
What I was trying to get at is that if you have the metal bellcranks and they are not adjusted right you will screw up the stock plastic gears. And putting metal ones in will burn up the servo...
Do you have the STRC aluminum bellcranks? The plastic gears in my trucks are still going strong. Just trying to figure out why yours failed. Was this the first time it happened? I would start by...
Sounds like the switch. One of mine would run strong then not work the next run. Does messing with the switch give you any results?
3s is pretty quick with this combo. Reminds me of the 1/16 VXl slash I had. Very quick and terrible at steering.
Both of mine failed. So they have been removed and wires soldered together. On/off is the battery connection now. Image switches left me not being able to run in a few spots after driving there as...
It is a good combo. I have it in both my trucks. Only run 2s.
What is up with your pinion? The teeth are beyond screwed up! Something has to give when you shove a ball bearing into hard plastic which is what happens when the motor mount bearing blows apart. ...
He is using 2s though not 3s. Wouldn't that make it warmer?
All that was left was what was in his picture.....the outer race of the bearing. That is set down into the motor mount with no access to the flat of the bearing race. A ten pound sledge won't do...
I like the 66 F100 but the lines of the 79 F250 should help it not crack as easily as the box shaped 66
Looking good. I really want to get the 79 f250 body. Have to trash one of mine first though.
It shouldn't be a motor issue.
You got it figured out. Cold and all the extra weight hurts run time. I usually gear up in winter because you see lower motor temps. But that hurts run time even more. You could try to gear down...
Go for it. The LCG is funny in grass. It bounces the front end all the way through because it drags the whole chassis.
I can't because I live in ND. Isn't there a proper spot for this sort of post other than in the slash 4x4 section?
Just say no. Didn't you already ask this or was it someone else?
That is too bad that you have broke three chassis. You say that you have never broke a chassis before but have you ever had an RC vehicle this powerful? I think you need to invest in a chassis...
Mine has a crack that starts at the rear point of the front bulkhead on the servo side. You can just see it from the outside so far. My driveshaft has been rubbing on the front of the chassis right...
$400 tops. Nobody wants to buy one that is already put together.
The lipos were just in my bag. Not in a separate bag.
