I dont think I will ever paint my own body, I will just buy the clear one and leave it clear.
I go through one or two every time I go out on my stock body, I bought a box of 100 from mcmaster-carr for like 10 bucks so I am good to go for quite a while.

I like to keep my stuff nice, that doesnt mean I dont dog on it like crazy at the track and on the street but when I am done I clean it nice... besides working on a nasty dirty truck is a pain.
Just put a drop of oil on the screws after you clean the RC and they wont rust... Stainless Steel just looks good but doesnt offer much in the way of strength.
So my local track is a hard clay surface that becomes super dusty. Anyhow when I bring it home I always spray it down with a citrus cleaner and then wash it off with the hose, I blow the major water...
I did the shoe goo and drywall tape thing and it helped but its a pain in the *** to do. Next time I will probably do the spray liner.
Dont waste your money on drivers from RC companies, you can buy hex drivers ALOT cheaper at sears.
I only have a few batteries on my shocks but one of them leaks like a siv, I tried changing to aluminum caps with a new rubber piece and it still leaks.

You need to turn low voltage detection on your ESC, you really should read the manual.
