I used them with trenchers so a lot more grip than stock tires I would flip if I cornered hard once installed truck dipped way less into Corners. I used the thicker bar.
They vastly improve handling I would suggest them
Ok so I'll just stick with tekno carriers. I must have just clipped my tire just right to break it. Still will probably upgrade c blocks to strc
Traxxas makes a cool looking dakar body. Other wise in my opinion the more sc style bodys would look best to me I'm not bit on the bug bodys. just my 2 cents.
So stick with tekno carriers and maybe just upgrade aluminum c blocks.
Do you run tekno in your truck? If so what caster blocks and steering blocks do you run. I was thinking strc. I caught my tire the other day on a pillar in my parking garage and it broke the caster...
Are their any aluminum carriers that work with the larger tekno stub axles?
I have the springs that came with the shocks. are the vorza shocks the same as the d8 shocks?
I found a pair of d8s on amazon from dollar hobbies like 40 bucks a pair I just would need to know what lengths I need I don't know if people run all fronts or fronts and rears
yea pretty much only bashing. So no way to set powerstrokes up to handle the weight good?
I have a lcg with a leopard 2700 kv motor, hw wpsc8 esc, and proline powerstrokes, and a 5000 mah 3s battery. For some reason my shocks don't seem up to the task for the weight it bottoms out easy...
Are rally rims a differnt size rim from a slash rim. I have 4 rally stock rims and am boiling off the worn out tires. What size tires fit on them do sc slash tires fit?
Yea I looked on the website and to me it looked like it is all just connected to the body I was just wondering if someone on here has actually put one to the test
I think it is great for when conditions are poor and you just want to run hard still
I agree u can always turn it off when u are bashing in good conditions but on super slick surfaces sometimes it almost just gets annoying t drive because u spin out so easy I will be trying one in...
Has anyone used the new proline blockbuster body with their go pro? if so how does the camera mount to only the body or does it somehow mount to the chassis for rigidity.
I am going to have to get one of these an try it out wet pavement and my impossible slippery underground garage floor cab be very slick and we always want to go fast might help keep things under...
Has anyone ran a Hpi d box 2 in a slash. I was thinking it would be cool to use on wet asphalt or when I run in our underground parking garage that is super slick
I wonder how good the hpi d box 2 would work. Me and my buddy in the winter or bad weather race around in an underground parking garage and are alwas trying to be drift masters maybe this would make...
Drywall tape and sikaflex adhesive is awesome it's super tough and stays very flexible
Are these the correct ones
DER-SCT-17B - DE Racing "Trinidad" SC Front/Rear 17mm SC Wheels (2) (SC8) (Black)
I am thinking about putting on a tekno 17mm conversion on my slash due to a couple rims getting stripped out what are most people using that work with all the popular sc tires. Also beadlock would be...
if u want to do all around bashing including racing with your buddies slash is the way to go I have a pede and a slash both 4x4 and I always end up bashing my slash it just handles everything...
I have seen lcg chassis break but they were all pretty bad frontal crashes. I have beat my lcg chassis with no failures. I do agree the lcg is a weaker design but if u have broken 3 chassis in a row...
Does anyone know of indoor rc tracks near the twin cities that run 4wd short course class me and a buddy are looking maybe to get into racing this winter if we can find a good track
