Buckeye / Wolverine smack? I love it! Huge fan of college football and I really respect the rivalry those two teams have. Unfortunately my Horns got whupped by bama thursday, though having our QB...
I know RPM has a great reputation for durable parts, especially from members of this board. The only RPM I've used are A-arms (the one spot I wanted flexibility in mishaps) and mine have begun to...
Obviously each track will be different. Though the TRX TORC Slash races allowed mods of TRX aluminum parts, which I think would be fair and cover the PE edition.
Who knows, discuss with your...
Blue and silver with stars would work for a Cowboys fan.
I'm a Cowboys fan.
Works for me.:D
Whoa, I'm in north SA and haven't seen Medina in a while. Has it come up any since the summer?
Nice place to run though. As soon as I get a day off after the holidays I plan on hitting the Toys...
I don't know how much of the MX-5 schedule they hit, but both Mike and Mark were active this year. And I dig the paint on their Miatas!!!
With the Jenkins Bros racing in the Miata Cup I was hoping we'd see something along those lines.
He wants a mid-engine rig. Nitro chassis would be the way to go.
Ahh, got it.
This is the balancer I use, no adapter needed for SPC:
Wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with the Common Sense brand of Lipos. I went to the LHS to replace my MA 5000 3S (lost due to my stooooooopidity) and with no MaxAmps in stock, the...
No kidding. Stampede, Sport, Street Sport, S-Maxx.
In tribute, I think I'll change my handle to Sustang and modify the decals on my Rusty to Sustler SXL.
(Must become Duncan1981's friend!)
Ah, thanks Kid. It was the scoop behind the front wheel that threw me off. Of course I didn't even notice the wing, completely different than the Illusion.
Looks like the JConcepts to me.
Nice job, I may have to do that, but add a Texas Longorn logo to the hood.
Just curious what, if any, "weak link" y'all leave in the front suspension and why? I run aluminum steering blocks and bearing carriers, leaving the arms as my weak link. My personal reasoning was...
Welcome, rc is a slippery slope and it looks like you just stepped over the edge.:D
Not to mention the "-sh" as opposed to the "-yer". How did I not see THAT before?
Hey Goofster, is that cauliflower on your workbench?^_^
The other beach posts have me in the mood to start planning my tire setup for my coast trip later this year. I'll have either Panther or Proline paddles in the rear and I'm thinking of using Panther...
I recently bought a Rusty VXL as my first actual hobby class rc car. Over the years I've had a few toy rc cars and even attempted an rc plane (broken wing twice and attempting yet another repair <_<...
Repro, I am defintely a Mustang fan. My parents and older brother brainwashed me as a kid in the '70's and I chose never to change. If I ever put a non-rusty body on my vxl, I've really been eyeing...
Just to confirm one of your questions, nope, the rusty does not come with a wheelie bar. And, I highly recommend having something back there.
Cool, I've been waiting to see what it would look like.
I notice the motor and battery cables will really be rubbing on the body now. Not much clearance by the rear body mount.
Thanks kavvika, I didn't know the teflon was only on the inside. BTW, the big bores are next on my upgrade list. I bought the aluminum caps but it takes me forever to get them to thread correctly...
