i saw a picture of your truck somewhere, i think it was the ring carrier mod thread, and i was wondering what was going on with that stock rear skid lol
just went and...
HCR makes a full TI skid plate. it comes in silver, and i think blue and green also
im down with it for now.
i wont buy another though
its still on there. and its a truck. lol
Its a Jconcepts Illuzion Tango body
i replied to your thread bud.
go check it out
you have to remove everything from the stock chassis and move it over to the New chassis.
the process takes as long as you take to do it. lol
It really depends on how fast you work and how...
i just found out how hard it is to find a piece of 1/2" copper pipe that is under 1 foot long.
Most of the places i went to sold it in lengths of 10 feet and 5 feet. They had 1/2" copper repair...
I havent taken it off yet, its going to take awile
for me to get it completely off.
my Qoncepts chassis brace ties into it.
So i've got to remove the transmission and rear center shaft
the only 100% effective way to get the water out of your foams/inside of tires is to dismount them and let them air dry
its not the lightest, it doesnt do much, it does brace, but it doesnt brace the area that is known to crack/break.
and.. it makes things hard to work on
weight it upside down on the body like i just did.
Revo came in at a surprising 8lb 14ounces.
More then i like, so im making some changes as we speak and will be revisiting the post office...
i only see 3 parts i'll be buying that are on the platinum revo.
chassis and brace
and the shock pistons.
Yup, you got it right
im gonna bring a 8x8x8 box and set the chassis on top of the box.
Thanks for pointing that out.
The camerai used is a Nikon Coolpix p4 camera
well worth the money
It'll be getting weighed tomorrow.
Revo's gonna take a road trip to the local post office lol
241 super wides with Panter Boa's
its aluminum and it may be hitting the trash can soon
you pinch to much, the sleeve will simply be to small/tight for the piston.
it should only be done 2 to 3 times.
the more you do it the shorter it lasts
my truck is under 9 lbs by quite a bit.
and i wasnt talking about sneaking by there rules as far as engines go.
i run 3 different engines, the Tm,TZ and a sirio small block.
pretty much any servo that you can find that has more torque then 140 ounces.
the list can go on and on.
a real cheap, yet super strong, and super torquey servo would be either the Towerpro...
lol where in the world do you get your info at?
you can put any size power plant you like in a revo and race it.
as far as ROAR goes, i am not sure. i dont follow up on there rules.
i would wait the 2 months to save some money .
IMO, the revo i currently have is better then the platinum edition.
i was looking at that on ebay earlier this morning
