I wish they would make a white one to allow more personalization.
Sincere props for not only scale replication but for things I wont/dont understand.
I would have flipped them 180 degrees as well so the natural curve of the weight was closer to the curve of the ID of the wheel. That way less glue would need to be used.
I am guessing reflection from the high gloss rim. :-)
I think what you did below is a much better way to address adding weight. You dont want to add rotational weight in my opinion (you get what you pay for ;) ) and mounting it at the bumper helps...
Is that just a red sticker or did you use SMT LEDs
Want to make me one to accept stock LED diameter size? :cool:
So you can paint it the colors you desire for one off creation that nobody has. :-)
I have not painted Lexan in about 20 years. Is it still the same pain in the tush to prep and mask off?
Wow, I really like how that orange turned out. I think its very sharp!
I use the light flickering/fading as an indication that the batteries are going and complete my drive. And while I should know this, doesn't the source of the LEDs come from a branch off of the...
How many OEM attachments can you add to the existing setup? Does anybody know?
I like to drive at night (as I have two young kids and its the only time I get to drive by myself) and have already...
I think its the lower output voltage you receive through the receiver versus a constant unmolested higher source of voltage. I believe through the receiver you plan on the lower 6 volts. To get the...
So for the image below as I have found through my job many people call things many different things meaning the same thing.
Blue = servo (duh..lol)
Red = Servo Horn
Yellow = Turnbuckle
So short of servo choice, the only real upgrade needed is the servo arm to turnbuckle?
Digging through all of the single servo thread via the link b@3 provided, Pav (pavementsurfer) is the only one that gave enough description to parts.
Not having torn apart the steering mechanism,...
I hope people that respond give a bit more detail in the supporting parts required. There are a lot of servo choices, but then the conversations kinda dry up when it comes to what other parts they...
Also, make sure you have the proper safety in place. A LiPO bag is a good start and an A/B/C extinquisher. LiPOs are fine if you understand them (like aluminum wiring). There are inherent dangers...
Keep us updated. I dont use sensors either. Have not gotten to a spot to use a long range, but once summer becomes permanent here, I will.
Yeah, that's what I was trying to validate as I thought I had read that somewhere too. Although money is tight right now I was considering getting the belly pan as the bottom of my chassis is taking...
Do the TBones skids still have the questionable soft material standoffs that beak?
No sneaking into the closet to gander once your wife goes to bed! :D
I know I have a bunch of questions and confusion. I think we should have a wheels/Tires fitment thread stickied with pictures like a lot of automotive forums have. It think that would help us tire...
I forget what it specifically means, but the red and green blinking is notated in the manual. Give that a peek and it might help you out.
It not in the manual outright, its in an addendum on a single sheet of paper tucked into the manual. At least mine was that I got in early march.
The "new" ones do. So if you get new stock. you should have LVD/Cutoff with your stock Traxxas ESC. I think the change over was roughly in February.
jamann and dlg636, where did you get your non-2.2 Rocksters at? How long ago?
