The probles is solved for me at least. I downloaded all pdfs when they were back on the page so Im good.
Thanks I know, but a few hours ago there were no files there to download, just pdf icons and no links to the actual pdf's.
Now the files are there for downloading again. Weird problem...
Where are all exploded view files? Do not like the new page and all problems I encounter all the time with pdfs, old forum links and so on... Why change something that works good already.
Thats some nice tool you have access to!
Great to hear I inspire you guys to make some ski's :)
I must say that running skis and chains on crust was a very "open" nice feeling that all Slashers should experience atleast once!
Thank you Lars :)
I think its called acrifix. Very good for plexi and similar thermo plastics.
The seam is invisible if used right, good for making artwork.
Now I have just been out for a testrun with the new fins. Turning is veeeery good now at high speeds, almost to good. The rear swings around if I push it to hard when turning. Earlier it kept...
Snow is not that fun when you have it 3 months a year. You get tired of it very fast, believe me.. But its bright and nice!
Maybe I'll try some water skiing in the summer. Just gotta give my...
I have not sanded CF yet. Was going to make a chassi out of CF but I never got to it. Then I heard about the dangerous particles and decided to go with a fiberglass chassi instead just to be safe at...
Good luck with the interview Nitro!
I'll keep all my upcoming CF sanding jobs outside just to be sure.
bigdodge, I could always try what you suggest, but it will be easier to just turn the...
No problem, you get them up when you have time and back home.
If you want to make something very useful and save some cash, make a low CG chassi out of carbon fiber!
They are very expensive to...
Btw, its not the same chassis as yesterday. This is my other Slash with diy low cg chassi.
Maybe its called cheating :)
Thats right, no fins only slots.
We got about 3-4cm of powder snow last night. That might help them turn better than last time on bare crust.
I was very pleased with my testdrive today.
Please post a picture of your CF ski's if you have time.
The spring makes a big difference, but I also moved the mounting plate 5mm in front of center of the ski's to help with that.
The appletheif was back later yesterday night. I got really close to it and shot a pic with full power flash, he didn't care, apples was more important :)
These animals are HUGE when...
I will probably have to redesign the ski's if I want them to work the way I need them to.
Took them out for a run tonight under our courtyard lamp..
Springmod works beautifully! Not a single dive...
pakratt, I layed the ski on a aluminium tube, clamped them to the table and varmed up with my hot air gun on 600C setting. Took about a minute then I just pressed the tip down to the table with a...
I did a quick mod and will try it out tomorrow, its dark here now..
Tnx! Thats a very good idea. I have to make that springmod at once! Noticed earlier that the ski's did dive from time to time when taking some jumps.
I made a videoclip!
Works very good on snow! Both front fins under the ski's broke of during the drive. Have to fabricate fins out of steel or something.
Thank you my neighbor :)
I tried paddles last season. Both on loose and hard snow. The chains are always performing better in my opinion.
The paddles I used was proline's sandpaws.
Thanks Lasse! :)
I threw some paint on the ski's tonight. Didnt like the transparent poly and rusty steel part.
