First of all, I had a 1999 TL26 and its the toughest machine I ever owned. I run it hard for 2 years and it had 5000 hrs on it when I got it.
I'd totally love to own this vehicle especially if I could order it without the spoiler but in their "frozen grey" matte paint finish. The BMW Parts looks totally great!!
I use 12ga Deans wire and the shrink I use is 1/4".. Use the smallest size that easily slides over the area you want to insulate.Hope it helps
I own a 4-tec. Best car part upgrades you can get for it are:
a) an ESC
b) Stock motor... or a motor that doesn't heat up much
I used this setup and was able to match a TC3 RTR...

I drift my 4 Tec. I have to say, it isn't the best drift car because of the weight distribution, but that doesn't mean it can't drift.
